JNTUK Kakinada Review

IITs and NITs are very costly and beyond my budget, I could not afford the expenses of such big colleges. So I decided to opt for JNTUK Kakinada as the college perfectly fits my budget and the college also has good placements. I have cleared my GATE exam and I have to fill the admission from the college website. After getting shortlisted on behalf of my GATE score I was called to the campus for PI and document verification. After successfully completing the document verification process I was allowed admission.

The curriculum of the college is good and it was recently updated to meet the latest standards of the industry. The curriculum is designed to impart all the basic knowledge of coding and computer programing through various types of case studies and simulation activities. The faculty of the college is very professional and they are properly trained and expert in their respective domain. The faulty have goo industrial exposure and the share their ex[erinces and knowledge with us.

The college provides internships and we can opt for the internship after completing the first year of our program. The placement committee of tech college help us to find a good company for an internship and we have to complete 9 weeks of the internship program. The average stipend for the internship is around 45k.

The college has good placement. The college committee plays a very important role in the college placement drive as the committee is responsible for inviting the companies and they are able to attract a good number of companies. The college placement committee also guides us during the college placement rounds. The highest package was around 16 LPA and the average salary package was 8 LPA which is very good in comparison to the college fees.

The complete fee for two-year programmes is just 60k which is very reasonable and the placement of the college are also good in comparison to the college fee. The college does not have any kind of individual scholarship schemes but state and central government-funded scholarships are available that one can avail of.

The campus life of the college is good. The college has sports facilities like a volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court, and many more. The college classrooms are well maintained. The college library is small but there are many bestseller books are available and many self-help books are also available. The college also organises yoga events from time to time. The college seniors are very friendly as the college strictly follows a no-ragging policy.

The hostel rooms are available on sharing basis and the rooms are cleaned. The rooms are available with basic amenities like beds, almirahs, and study tables for everyone. The hosel has 24x7 water and power supply. A hot water facility is also available during the winter season. The mess food quality is just okay management need to look into it. The wardens and staff are very cooperative.
