Entrance Preview

I didnt take any exam, i went through general councelling conducted by anna university chennai as in tamil nadu there is no separate entrance exam required to join engineering courses.

Internships Opportunities

There is no such inter program in our college most of the colleges in tamil nadu except a few offer internship training for their students. Other than that no other colleges under anna university offer intern to their students during their course.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are quite less compared to other courses for example arts and science because in tamil nadu there are nearly 2500-300 engineering colleges at present so every year 500000 engineering graduates are passing out.

College Events

Every year we used to celebrate three to four events in our college for each department, one is technical symposium second cultural and third department entertainment program.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are very less compared to other private universities its about 45000 per year in total as tution fees, other fees like hostel, food and study materials are separate but its also in-expensive compared to plush institutes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Educational loan will be arrange in any of the nationalized banks for the entire course and other facilities used by the student, who ever gets university rank their fees will be refunded.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no ragging in our campus, seniors are more friendly and quite helping in nature. They used to support us and take good care of us, they used to guide us in every single issue and solve the problems we face both in academic and personal.

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

I opted due to mode of transport, I. e, train. In and around Chennai, colleges loot money in the name of transport and food. This college doesn't meet this criteria. It is just like government college, which is under court judge control due to management problem. Joined the college by getting admitted letter and paid fees. Fees as per government mandated.
