The Amazing College(AITS)

To get Admission into a polytechnic in any institute in Telangana one should have passed 10th with a minimum score of 35% or equivalent and maths, physics as mandatory subjects. The admission process starts with an entrance exam called TS POLYCET the application fee is 400 Rs you can apply on the official website. It is conducted in the month of July every year. The exam is very easy it is MCQ(Multiple Choice Questions).In order to qualify you should score a minimum of 40 marks. After that select the preferred colleges. There is a reservation facility available at AITS.No improvement is needed in the admission process.

Polytechnic is a three-year course with a total of 5 semesters and 1 training sem. After completing polytechnic you can get into B.Tech 2nd year directly as Lateral Entry. The course gives good knowledge of computer science and its uses and I think it is better than doing Intermediate as it prepares you well for UG(B.Tech) and PG(M.Tech). The faculty-student ratio at AITS is 1:45 which is very good as the faculty members are well qualified and have a lot of experience in teaching. They use practical and review-based methods to teach for better learning purposes. There are 2 mid-term exams every semester which is quite hard.

The fee AITS for polytechnic is 30000 Rs per year including any other fees like library and lab etc. There is a one-time enrollment fee of 3000 Rs and also every semester you have to pay University Exam Fee from your own pocket. You can apply for TS government Scholarship and get the total course fee Reimbursed. you can check the eligibility criteria at the TS EPASS website and apply at the same. This scholarship is only for MInority and Sc/St students who have a valid Original Caste and Income Certificate signed by local Tahsildar. There is no financial assistance from college and also no jobs on the campus.

AITS has a very good campus with good Infrastructure and Facilities. Studying here has been a great time of life. The campus is not A-Tier but has everything you need. There is a playground where you can play cricket and volley. The campus has a canteen which offers good food for an affordable price. The library is very good it has all the books and Journals needed. The labs are well equipped with the latest required equipment.Classrooms are big with nice Infrastructure. Overall this is a nice college and worth the money.
