Remarks

Any candidate who completed two years of intermediate or three years of Diploma in the specified branch is eligible for the course provided in the college. Admission into this college is taken for Intermediate candidates through ranks obtained in the EAMCET exam. And for Diploma candidates to ECET exam rank is considered. To get a seat in this college, it is enough to qualify EAMCET or ECET exam. Any rank will be enough to get a seat in the college. But to get a seat in the branches like ECE and CSE streams some cutoff will be present because maximum seats will be filled up as both branches were popular. But there is no worry because management seats are also available. Application forms fee structure and latest application dates will be available on the college website (www.srecnandyal.edu.in). Yes, Reservation benefits are present as of my knowledge. I'm saying this because one of my friends is availing those benefits in the form of fee reduction in bus fairs and also college fee reduction.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I'm from the ECE department. And I chose this course because I'm very much interested in electronics. While joining the college I thought that it was similar to normal engineering colleges but later during my course, I felt satisfied. The course curriculum is pretty good. The faculty of my department are very friendly and they are always available for students. but as the coin has two sides we have to agree that in some situations faculty will be partial to students. Coming to the teaching, common to accept the truth, if we listen, classes, will be easy for us whereas if we do not listen they will be a nightmare. Faculty will be using different teaching methods. Honestly, In my department, most of the faculty have very good Knowledge and some are not well at it. More assignments and slip tests will be conducted every week which are a burden to students, but if we utilize them they will become a boon. Mid-exams, prefinal, and semester exams will be conducted.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

To my knowledge, there are no internships provided by the college. But if the no. of students who are interested to attend the internship of the same company is more then the college will directly contact the company and provide the opportunity. If not students should do it independently. Coming to the projects in very last years students do their project independently will the help of project guide who is faculty itself. But in recent times some external organizations are coming to give the project assistance. All we have to do is students should have to pay them. This thing disappointed me.

Placement Experience

4

We will be given placement assistance from starting of the third year itself. Every topic which is required to attempt the company exams will be given training. Some external organizations will be coming to college for providing students with the training. There will be only some on-campus drives. But no need to worry because these days large MNCs are recruiting students in bulk by conducting national-wide off-campus exams irrespective of their colleges. If we utilize the training provided by college it will be really helpful and easy to crack those exams. I'm saying this confidently because I got placed in five different companies. College TPO is very friendly. sometimes he'll be harsh to students if the situations and behavior of students are out of control. In my batch i.e.,2018-22 batch 162 students got a place in just their 6th semester as of now. How cool it is. The last batch, it is a 60% conversion rate. But this time before completing the course I'm seeing that rate.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I already mentioned fee structures us reasonable for middle-class families but a burden for some people. The college will be providing full fee reimbursement to students who scored 90% in their semester exams. It will also provide incentives to students whose attendance is 100% which is impossible, for B.Tech students. Coming to the different kinds of fees, we have to pay a fee for different categories like ( the placement fee, caution deposit, and some exam fees for Every semester, bus fee if we are using bus facility, if not transport charges, some food expenses). These are all necessary. Sometimes extra charges will be there for workshops, industrial tours and all. Coming to the placement assistance I'm the correct person to say because I got placed in 5 companies in recent times. Only some on-campus companies will be coming to college. But we can try on off-campus obviously. placement assistance is pretty cool if we make use of it. College TPO is very cooperative.

Campus Life

3

Life at the campus is pretty good. The environment makes it feel good. Talking about the Canteen the food is great but the size of the canteen is small????. Great college ground is present where different events like SIGMA, some technical fests, some cultural fests will be organized for improving the social life of students. Small small events will be organized by individual departments now and then. Talking about the library, it's a pretty big library. Many books are available and well organized. Not only course books but also different books for entertainment and personality development are also available. Talking about classrooms, if there is full strength present the class benches will not be sufficient it will be a little clumsy and washrooms are bad and sometimes stinky. College Radio is present which is organized by students. And many clubs are also present. NSS unit Cell and IEEE student club are present. It's nice if we utilize them.
