A journey worth sharing

The one thing I would like to mention here is the lack of responsibility by some staff members remember not all of them but a few they don't worry about their duties this is because in govt sector one your job is permanent, no one can question ur work and that is the worst part here.

I was admitted into this college because of my EAMCET rank (613) i opted this college because it's an autonomous govt college and thought I would have a better scope of future if I study here moreover it is the second best college in andhra pradesh under the EAMCET category the other important thing is since it is a govt college, it is obviously economical.

The 4 year course comprises of 8 semesters each semester lasting approx 5-6 months each semester there would be 6 theory subjects with 4 credits each and 2-4 practical subjects with 2 credits each.

Previously Honeywell a top MNC use to give an opportunity of internship to our department(ECE) but right now if u are interested in an internship, u have to go on your own and the college doesn't provide u any but recently from the past 2 years AICTE has given us the opportunity of industrial training at RTTC-BSNL where the funding was given by them.

Almost 90% of the students will be placed during campus placements, but may not be their core subject related job most of the students get placed in IT sector there are a little chances in placing in core companies but you should have a good basic knowledge on your own specialized subjects the typical IT companies which visited our college were TCS, ACCENTURE, CAP GEMINI, MUE SIGMA, URUMI SYSTEMS, TECH MAHINDRA. The packages offered generally ranges from 3 to 7 lakh per annum based on ur skill.

Every year during March we use to conduct technical fest for which the participants come from all over the andhra pradesh there would be workshops, events, ppts, paper and project presentations and also the culturals apart from this many national conferences will be conducted in collaboration with IEEE OR TEQUIP.

Since it is a govt college, the fee structure is very feasible the Tuition fees is just 10000 Rupees per year moreover many students will get epass by which the student fee is paid by the government if the particular student is eligible i.e if he had an annual income of less than one lakh per year.

Yes the college provides some scholarship facilities to students who are eligible based on merit and their economical background.

The campus life is pretty good there will be a lot of extra curriculars and sports going on in the college there are many student clubs here which helps the students to do something other than the academics there is NCC and NSS unit here in my college, if u are interested u can join in any one of them the gender ratio would be like 60:40 representing male and female.

The hostel facilities are just ok I mean they would be not upto the mark every room will have 4 students the average rentals will be around 3000 per month including all like rent and food.

Many alumni of our college were in good positions now sreedharan, the man behind Delhi metro and is now doing the metro for andhra pradesh is an alumni of our college. The seniors were also very interactive and they used to guide us in many ways.

For every semester u will have two internal exams and one external exams the exam structure depends on the regulation to which u belong right now both R10 and R13 regulations were going on in the college for R13 you will have a 30+70 mark pattern for internal and external basically there would a reasonable gap between the exams and u don't really get hectic with them.

As mentioned in my title "never expect much". This title is particularly apt for describing the faculty of our college i don't blame it completely on all the staff there are some good staff with good standards, but at the same time u may found some other staff not so good so if u get a good staff for a particular subject, feel u are lucky and if one with low standard u have to adjust with them overall it depends on the staff allocated to u.
