Course Curriculum Overview
As I had always dreamt of becoming an architect that's why I went ahead with this course. This course teaches us to think creatively and it requires a lot of brainstorming. Our college has a strong ratio of well-trained and highly educated staff and the faculty members are really supportive at times when student needs their help. They also modify teaching according to the need of our course and syllabus. The university level semester exams are held in the college each semester. There are 10 semesters in the entire course. The level to pass the examination varies from moderate to difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of college is quite expensive as it is a private college and not the government college. At the start of the academic year, students can apply for the scholarships. The candidate who will get shortlisted may be awarded a scholarship by the college. Students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds can also request a reduction in college fees. The college also provides merit-based and need-based scholarships to deserving candidates. Central and state government scholarships are also available for college students so they can apply for that also. Apart from these scholarship programmes, students can also apply for the educational loans issued by Indian banks.
Campus Life
The campus life at our college is quite okay and the environment at campus is also good and fresh as our campus is located near the green fields. Also, the campus is really huge and there are different buildings for different courses. We also used to have educational trips every year around the month of december as it is an important requirement of our course (B.Arch.) and that was the best part of my college life. Students are also encouraged to participate in the extra-curricular activities being organised by the college such as debates, speeches, workshops, etc. The hostel facilities are also provided by the college for students from different states who come from all over the country. Canteen and sports facilities are also available, but the mess is not good enough.
