Course Curriculum Overview

3

Firstly I have chosen this course because I belong to a family which have agriculture been a major occupation for decades. Being a farmer's daughter, I always wanted to do agriculture practices innovatively and effectively. The faculty was good and well communicative. The students approximately girls and boys are in a 40:25 ratio in each section. Faculty qualification was PhD and MSc also, they will recruit freshers who are completed, Masters. Semester exams were held every 6 months, in between, there were mid sem exams will also hold and practicals will also conduct by the university. Exams were not very difficult but at the same time not too easy, if you know concepts you can easily get a good score.

Internships Opportunities

2

There are several companies that recruit students by taking interviews and personal interaction. Companies like pesticide & fertilizer manufacturing companies Agri based companies, agriculture machinery manufacturing companies were offered placements.

Placement Experience

2.5

During 8th semster, students can appear in campus placements. Different companies will participates in placements.you need enroll in university website for placements and you need to pay 1000 for it but better you do not take because, for freshers the salary paid by a company were very less around 10k-15k. Better a student go for Msc or ABM from a best college or you can prepare for government exams like AFO, NABARD, FCI, Food and security departments and their several government exams will be there for a Agriculture graduates And several banks releases notifications every year so you can go for that there we get best pay scale and better life style

Fees and Financial Aid

You can get scholarships through national fellowship examinations which were conducted by the government. It was a private one so you cannot expect any scholarships from college You have to pay complete fees on your own. You can take education loans from banks if you want. University will provide placements from different companies if you want you can attend campus interviews. I personally never wanted a job through placements because I always wanted to do MSc

Campus Life

3.5

There are a few cultural fests that will be conducted in the university, like cultural fest, sports fest, management fest especially Ganesh Chaturthi will celebrate very good. University will conduct freshers day every year. There is a library in the university and several books available along with journals, articles etc. Different types of sports will be conducted on the university grounds Cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, Khokho, throwball, badminton, Along with sports there are several extracurricular activities like dance, singing, Essay writing, and several competitions were held.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel rooms were good and clean. And comes to food you cannot expect much it was normal only. During the time of admission, you have to fill hostel form also. I am not doing PG in Singhania because I wanted to do PG in a government university. So I am not aware of the rooms nearer to university for rent.
