Remarks

My College excelled in all other departments except the pharmaceutical department. Unable to meet the standards and budget required for setup, transferred students to another college to cope up with laboratory requirements. Yet we are happy that our college gained a good reputation as an institution and this enabled us to secure a seat in good colleges after finishing our bachelors.

Entrance Preview

I have not taken any of the entrance examinations and the college offered me a seat as the pharmacy department college is in its start-up.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course curriculum is set as per the standards of the Pharmacy council of India. The electives are clinical pharmacy and industrial pharmacy. Clinical pharmacy emphasizes patient care whereas industrial pharmacy emphasizes manufacturing practices.

Internships Opportunities

We have never been offered an internship or a stipend. All the students are required to pay the fee on their own. We should be able to manage our expenses.

Placement Experience

0.5

No companies have ever conducted campus placement interviews in our college. All the students are forced to search for a job on their own.

College Events

2.5

Our college holds a yearly fest across all the departments in the group of institutions. Students from other colleges are allowed to participate and this is a happening event in my college. Students across all famous institutions participate in this event. Also, a quarterly sports event is conducted among various departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for our batch is Rs 50, 000 per annum and this has been increased to 85, 000 per annum for batches following us. I believe the quality of education we have received is not worth what we have paid for.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of such facilities offered or availed. None of my friends have ever availed of such facilities.

Campus Life

1

Campus life is just above average. Not much of the extracurricular activities have been organized. No hostel parties and our hostel in charge never encouraged social movement.

Hostel Facilities

3

The cleanliness and the ambiance of the hostel can be rated as the best. They offered students 4 sharing rooms with individual cupboards for all students. Each floor accommodates a 20-bath toilet and is very clean. A highly secured campus. We paid 5000 per month including food. Though the accommodation meets the quality, food standards were poor.

Alumni/Alumna

My College seniors are the first batch to join the newly established pharmacy department. They provided us with some good guidance and made us learn some good tactics to lead a comfortable college life.

Exam Structure

The exam structure and the standards of the examinations held are very poor. The internal examinations conducted were of no use and students always have to prepare at the 11th hour during the final examinations.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for campus placements and the companies arepharmaceutical manufacturing, clinical research, and healthcare employ graduates. Major pharmaceutical companies such as Sun Pharma, Cipla, and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories are prominent recruiters, along with contract research organizations (CROs) like IQVIA, and hospitals such as Apollo Hospitals. Other options include roles in retail pharmacy chains like Apollo Pharmacy and MedPlus, and in government organizations like the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO). The highest package of ?20-25 LPA or even higher for experienced or specialized roles, though fresher salaries are significantly lower. Experienced professionals in niche roles at MNCs have the potential for the highest earnings, while the average salary for entry-level roles is between ?3.6 to ?7.8 LPA. 60to 70 percent students get the placements my plan is to join m pharm of diploma in pharm d

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of my intrest to serve people in medical field. There are approximately 5 lectures for 100 students. Few faculty are holding Masters degree and most others are doctorate holders. I love the teaching skills of faculty. Semester exams held for every six months. And it's moderate and can pass easily.

The companies include hetero gland Pharma; etc...and the starting package of the company is 2lakh package The numbers of students placed are fourth years which is like 30 students who are talented enough and can qualify for group discussions and many rounds competing with other college students too.
