Remarks
JIMS is ranked at no-21 among the best B-School of India and is ranked at 30 and 71 for private MBA by Outlook and NIRF that attracted me for admission in the college. The placement records are also wonderful I felt that JIMS is worth the money to be part of it. For admission in JIMS, you need to have a minimum of 50% marks and need to qualify CAT then followed by GD and PI round.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum meets all the latest industrial standards. The curriculum of the college mainly focuses on the competency building and self-development of the students. Visits to various companies help you to understand the working environment of the corporate world practically.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is not mandatory but the placement committee motivates you to take part in internship programs to enhance your practical knowledge. The college placement committee arranges for an internship according to the student interest level and you will also receive a stipend for it.
Placement Experience
As I am a first-year student of the college and I won't be taking part in the placement but my all seniors are already placed which means that the college can provide a 100% placement record even during the covid scenario which is really commendable. MacLeod, Axis Bank, Byju's, Bajaj were among the few top listed companies that took part in the recruitment process.
College Events
When it comes to events college organizes many sports activities and the main attraction point of the event is the 2-day fest called "Verve" where Bollywood celebrities and singers visit the college for the performance. And people from the corporate world also visit the college during the fest to share their knowledge and experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the MBA program is around 5 Lakh but there are scholarship programs for the economically weaker students who can get a scholarship of 30000 per year. You are also provided scholarships on the basis of merit.
Campus Life
The campus is huge where you can chill out with your friends after the lectures. The college canteen is very nicely maintained and is very clean. The campus is equipped with facilities like Gym, Basketball court, Badminton court and cricket ground.
Faculty
The college is very serious about the faculties. the faculty in the college are very knowledgeable and friendly which helps you to analyze your weak points. the faculty is ready to help you at any time no matter what the situation is they are there for you to clear your doubts.
