Merit cum means scholarship is given to the students who get 60% marks in the last qualifying exam. Students who qualify NET, get Rs 25,000 per month for research. The SC, ST students get the departmental fellowship.

MLSU has a well-equipped sports complex. The laboratory and library facilities of the institute are surely beneficial for the students. Infrastructure is so good, but some area in under construction. Campus is fully greener area and very large Acres.
