Remarks
I applied for the UG course B.com Hons in DAV centenary college. Firstly I filled out the form available on the MDU site or DAV college website. Then I went to the college on the date of counseling where very experienced teachers were taking our counseling. They checked our printed form and check my percentage of 10th & 12th, and admission criteria like I must have 70+ percentage in 12th class, etc. It was really a good session, All the teachers were very cooperative. Also, provide us guidance regarding courses benefits.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.com Hons because I'm from a commerce background and want to move forward in the banking field or teaching in the future. In B.com Hons, there were two sections i.e section A & Section B. In each section, 60 students exist. A total of 120 students studied in this course. We had 6 subjects in each semester, and for each subject different teachers are available. There was no shortage of teachers in our college. All the faculty members are very experienced and post-graduated one. They are very cooperative and provide the best methods to the students. Also, they provide books or notes to the needed students if they can. We had 6 semesters in b.com Hons. In every six or five months, term exams came. Some students easily qualify for their exams but some who never attend classes, face some difficulty to clear their examinations. It depends on students' dedication and way of writing an exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
In B.com Hons, fees are around 30000 per year. And it is compulsory to pay your college fees on time. I didn't get any scholarships, or maybe they don't provide them. Due to covid 19, I didn't get any job on campus but otherwise, companies arrive in the college for study Placements, and students placed with a good amount of salary.
Campus Life
The college environment is really good. Various clubs are also there. Extraordinary curricular activities are also done in the college. NCC., NSS fields are also available in the college. In each classroom of our courses, there are CCTV cameras. In each class two or four fans are available and smart classrooms are also there.
