KORMCE- College review

My EAMCET rank was somewhere around 90k+ which is a lot and I live in Kadapa and I wanted to study only in Kadapa.so I have fewer options and some of there are KSRM, KORM, AITS, SVCE , SVIST, AND SITS. considering my eamcet rank I will get a seat in all the above colleges except KSRM and AITS. If I had to choose from KSRM and AITS Them I would go for KSRM cause everything is big and better in ksrm compared to AITS, Infrastructure, buildings, PlayGrounds, College Transportation and everything is better. IF you ask me why I chose korm over svist,svce, and all others, The reason is when you are studying in KORM and You will have access to all Privileges of KSRM since KSRM, KORM, and KLM are Group institutions. You will get access to all placements, Events, Competitions. pros of KORM- 1. You will have to Ksrm in terms of placements, activities, etc. 2. A decent college with an average level of facilities. Cons: Most of the Faculty members are very below average.

The Internals will be very easy as the question paper will be made by the same faculty who teach the subject, so they will give you important questions to get better marks. The Externals were the toughest part as Korm is under JNTUA, It has a great name for its disgusting and Unfair type of Paper Correction. So the percentage will rarely cross 85% but in the case of autonomous colleges such as KSRM average percentage will be 80% and if u study hard u will even get 97% too.

There will not be any kind of internships from the college side and you have to search them by yourself if there is any off-campus available, If you are expecting the college to collaborate with some company to give you internships then it's not happening.

The placements in KORM will start from 4-1 semester and they are the same from both KSRM AND KORM meaning students from both colleges can apply and get a Job. The pros here are that we will have a lot of opportunities to get a job cause the number of companies recruiting will be high and The Cons here is That the competition will be very high. Only 10% of students will get placed and this truth.

The fee structure is 45k annually and If you are a convener quota student then it's absolutely free but they will ask you to pay 5k annually for the building fee. The will be no hike in college fees and if there are any they will intimate you at least before 6 months.

There will be an annual fest every year and It will start at 8 pm and ends at 12 pm. The college will take care of the safety and as well as Transportation of students. Students will have the opportunity to participate in games such as cricket, kabaddi, and carrom, etc and there will be prizes for the winners. Talking about Tech fest particularly KORM will not have any kind of Tech Fest but IN KSRM there will be Tech fest each Year and all KORM students will get an Invitation for Participation and as well as Visiting.

In GD the topics will be very general such as Impacts of social media, Government Functioning, etc and The faculty will be very friendly and they will correct you and guide you in a friendly way. Korm will have a special training session for the students where they will teach you how to get Job and this training will be absolutely free, the college will bear all the expenses.
