State government colleges in Rajasthan are alloted through REAP admission process which includes various private and government colleges all over Rajasthan. Admission is based on JEE mains marks basis and the second priority is given to 12th standard percentage. I scored low in jee exams but due to female quota seat availability, i got into the college of technology and engineering. College is decent in terms of academics compared to other colleges in Rajasthan.

The student-faculty ratio differs from department to department. Noncore faculties are lesser in comparison to core subjects faculties both in terms of number and experience. Guest facilities are reviewed annually by students. Exams are usually conducted on time and results are not delayed much.

AICTE provides various training and Internship opportunities through a tie-up with our college. Other than that students have to search on their own for off-campus opportunities for compulsory training and Internships.

The highest packages are mostly upto 11 or 12 lakh per annum for an extraordinary student but mostly it goes upto 5-6 lakh per annum for core branch students. Mostly students after graduation prepare for government jobs here.

Two installments of 35850 rupees are to to be paid annually. TEQIP aids in fanancial assistance, intelligence programs, and advancements. 75% of students usually get placed on campus. Job packages are not very high upto 5-6 lakh/annum is average.

Very good infrastructure of campus in terms of location and construction. It is surrounded by mountains and forests from one side. A number of clubs for various social activities are present and regulated by teachers and students.

Hostel facilities are excellent for a government hostel in terms of rooms and food. Hosts fees is a little costlier but worth it especially girls' hostel. The hostel is allotted at the time of admission. Boys hostel seats get booked pretty early but the girls hostel always has some rooms free. A lot of PG options are available in all different rates near college campuses only
