Remarks

I had applied for Delhi University and DELHI INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE AND RESEARCH UNIVERSITY. But Due to B.pharm being a more professional course I decided to opt for this. I had availed OBC reservation quota for my admission not because my marks are low because the competition for this college is too high. After all, it is a single government pharmacy college of India and this college provide very good placements as well. For B.pharmacy students should have passed 12th class from Science stream with PCB/PCM with at least minimum marks of 95% for general, 86% for obc for sc/st it is, even more, less but the seats are also less. Age I think not to matter. If I talk about the counselling day, As for this year and previous year counselling was online but before covid it was offline. On counselling day all your documents are checked carefully to check for any mistake or mismatch information, then if ok then tell you to go to the office and pay the fee.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course because I have a great interest in knowing about the working and manufacturing of medicine from the very beginning. In this college, there are plenty of teachers and in one course there is around 1 teacher for 70 students. All the faculty members are very educated and all had done their PhDs as well and have too much teaching experience before getting selected in this college. The teacher uses a blackboard for teaching as well as Smartboards for presenting ppts on several topics so that every student learn all the things. Every 6 months there is a semester examination as well as a practical examination which is not too hard and not too easy to pass. But before semester exams there is a sessional examination which happens twice with the practical exams as well of 20 marks each which will be considered for final marking as well.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Students have to compulsorily do the internship after completing their 3rd year. Students have to approach for internship on their own on different companies. I am not well aware of this fact because I am in my 3rd year.

Placement Experience

4

Mankind pharma, Zyla, Abbott, Eli Lilly, Cipla, Zydus pharmaceutical and so many companies visit this college every year for placement. Highest salary offered: 8.5 lacs, Average salary: 5 lacs, Lowest: 3.5 lacs, I am planning to pursue my masters from abroad after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are not generally hiked but from this year fees are doubled. Before this, it takes around 41000 for a year for bpharm but from this year it takes around 90000 for 1 year fee of B.pharm. Scholarships are also being provided by the Delhi government as it is a government college. Like Merit Scholarship for higher education, st/sc welfare scholarship which are given every year. A national scholarship scheme is also applied to this college. There is no on campus job opportunity according to me.

Campus Life

4

Due to covid from the last 2 year, no fest is organized but before that, a fest named panacea was organized. There is a library in college with a seating area as well for students and there are so many books and journals present in the library. Classrooms have ACs and projectors for presentations and all. For extracurricular, there are 5 clubs in the college which is being run by students which involve activities like play, singing, drama, literary society, dancing etc. Rotaract club is being run by students which also helps the needy people as well.

Well dipsar has high placements for mpharm candidates... during there 1st year actually... Though bpharm 3rd and 4th year candidate also get few opportunities... But most companies prefer mpharm students as mot bpharm holders persue higher study... Last yrs highest package is 12lakh per annum And average is 5lakh per annum As I mentioned previously Dipsar itself is a brand...so you will get preference over other in office campus also... I plan to persue higher study after getting degree... But even if I have to work..Ill prefer to join production or QA-QC department ... Rather than management
