College has good infrastructure, facilities and all necessary amenities in its vast 22 acre campus.classes are mostly held either in the main ACADEMIC BLOCK at your respective departments varying for courses.RGBH has one of the fastest and reliable wifi across campuses as well as Excellent sports facilities with participation in annual events like Yantragene, crick carnival etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

FGP has some of the best academicians and scholars inducted in its faculty besides having an excellent curriculum at par with the BTEUP.BTEUP even has a very relaxed and student friendly curriculum where students get ample time to pursue their interests and hobbies.

Placement Experience

fGP as excellent Placements and most of the Students in BTech are placed across Software, Data Science, Finance, Startup and Consulting Profiles, 10-20% students get placed or intern in Core Companies like Tata Steel, Vedanta, Bajaj Auto, Etc.

FGP has excellent placements and most of the students in diploma are placed across FMCG, software,data science,finance , startup and consulting firms.there is also provision for scholarship for all castes ie. General,OBC,SC,ST.

There use to happen annual fest like Yantragene,cric-carnival etc through out the year at time to time. it's library is facilitated with fast wifi, nice collection of books, monthly science magazine,5-6 kind of newspapers.it has a large playground for cricket, various courts for playing badminton, table tennis etc.

Admission

No, earlier students were admitted through JEECUP Counseling,there is also provision of direct admission.but these day admission will be taken through IIT JEE exams.there is no GD required for admission or any written exam is required for admission.

Our study is important but the most important thing is the placement, which makes your career better. Our college has campus placement and many companies visit and hire our students. In many branches, not all the students get the placement but the students who are toppers and who are good in their study get the placement. I also dream to get a placement so that I can get a job quickly after my diploma. For that, I am really working hard and improving my skills, knowledge, and my scores. Tata Motors, Layam Group, Myntra, Bajaj, and other companies come to our college for the placement. In the final year of our course, this opportunity comes to us and we are very much awaited for that.

Best engineering college for BTech and polytechnic. Architecture department are also in our college. Labs, laboratories, libraries. Buses with camera. Girl hostels.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, our senior get a job in many respected companies. About 70 to 80% of students placed in every year. About 40 students placed in Mechanical in core companies in this. Covid time by virtual placement drive. And minimum package for diploma student is 2.5 LPA to 5lpa.

Minimum salary package for freshers of diploma engineering hired 3.5 lakhs per annum. I am planning to go for the government junior engineers exam after completing my diploma

BEST GOVT. POLYTECHNIC IN UP

Remarks:

Positives Beautiful Campus : This might seem irrelevant to some, but the natural beauty is what comes to your rescue when you feel you have hit rock-bottom. Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others. A shared room provides you with one or more readily accessible friends whose privacy you can breach without asking, from day one. Mess : However the Mess System is undergoing a lot of changes, this is one aspect that has a lot of scope for improvement.

To take admission in Diploma you should have to qualify 10th examination at least. You have to clear the entrance examination of up polytechnic after qualifying for this exam you have to go through the counseling process. At the counsellinh stage, you can choose this college.
