Entrance Preview

I was a diploma student so I never had to give a entrance exam. I had secured decent marks in Diploma and easily got admission in 2nd year engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure was amazing. As I had completed my engineering in electrical & electronics engineering. I got to explore the best of both the world. The selection in optional subjects were also amazing. We got to study subjects like artificial intelligence and bio medical instrumentation.

Internships Opportunities

No, it does not for engineering but if you go for M. Tech you get to teach in the college along with pursuing M. Tech.

Placement Experience

The campus selection is good during my campus there were 21 companies that came in, not to mention there were some big players too like Infosys and IBM. They also take you to Jaipur if there is a nice pool campus going on. They take care that all their students get placed.

College Events

Resonance is the best event that is celebrated in the college it goes on for weeks. You can have a blast in that fest explore your interest in participate. There is something for everyone in the fest. Dancing music drama robotics Lan gaming treasure hunt writing you name it and they have it

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good most of the time you get 2 days break between 2 exams. And if talking about mid terms then you have to give 2 papers in a day that is quite OK as the course is not much. You get sufficient enough time to prepare too during finals the practical. Almost get over 2 weeks before the final exams giving you a lot of time to prepare for the same.

Admission

I had to fill a leap form as I was a diploma student to get admission in 2nd year of engineering. Do in that you just need to fill up a form give your choices for a college and after scrutiny you get the results.

Faculty

I think apart from everything else the best that could happen was the faculty of the college. The faculty was so supportive not only for studies both also for extra curricular activities too. They force you to atleast take part in one activity booking your morals to do your best.

Placement Experience:

Jecrc have average placement they show 55 lakh package on advisement and 6 lakh at average placement, but I talked with senior they say placement is not good from jecrc. But I thought have good placement in jecrc university.

Decent college for the girls

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle,bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
