Remarks

I applied to the aims, bvcits batalapalem and Srinivasa Engineering colleges other than Bonam Venkata Challamaiah institute of technology and science. Among them, I got a seat in BVCITS. I availed General category quota. I have got 29000 ranks in AP EAMCET which have given me a seat in the ECE program. The admission criteria for the program are changes according to the reservations. The admission process starts by entering the college options in web counseling. After the allocation of seats in college, we have to report at college if we satisfy with it. During reporting, we have to submit the original certificates of our previous studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the ECE branch because it gives me the opportunity to learn about working with both hardware and software concepts. The faculty and student ratio is 4:55. All the faculty members are M.Tech qualified for teaching B.Tech subjects. The teaching methods are so good. The semester duration is 4 to 5 months. Exams are a little bit difficult since the question papers were given by the controlling by JNTUK.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is around 52000 per annum. Since the bus charges are 10000 rupees per 40 Kilometre for a year. There are other types of fees levied on students namely Placements and training fees and other hall ticket fees. The government is giving fees reimbursement of the tuition fee.

Campus Life

There are many fests conducted in our College. But we have not seen any latest fests in my college due start of covid. The is a Cricket tournament conducted in our College. It is BPL, Conducted every year in the month of January. There is private groups, clubs or website for students run by students.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students are eligible for placements and can apply the interview process and career guidance in provided for students in every step. most of the students in it sector or computer science get placed in this college and other branches its around 40 to 50% placements. more than 100+companies visit college and highest package is around 35lpa and minimum is 2.7lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't like the course curriculum at all. When I joined the college it was like a regular curriculum muds and one final sem exams. But when we going to 2nd year the curriculum was changed, if i knew about that, wouldn't joined there. The curriculum makes the students to form a batch of 4 students and have to do the Team work. Those 4 students have to share the work of each subject and prepare themselves for the viva. Frequency of the exams are well introduced.

Review With my own perspective and experience

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided by college though it's recession period, they tried their best. From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited: Accenture, Mind x360, Gen technologies, Astroline, servo Medha. Number of offers are very low to some companies and some companies hired more 100 in count. In the recession periods 60 and above percentage of students are get placed. In normal times 90 and above percentage of students are getting placed. I aimed for job initially after that I want to become an entrepreneur.

First of all College is a one of the premium institute in Nellore.The main focus of college is to place all the studets in any company with a good salary.College has good faculty members and they teach in very effective manner.As college is located in the NH5 highway it is easy to transport.

Brief analysis of my college

Polycet is the entrance exam, which is conducted after the 10th examination. This exam pattern is based on the 10th subject and the Polycet entrance exam is passed and eligible for the course based on the result(rank). To pass the entrance exam, got ranked and select a different college in web options and join the college to fill out the application form and to due the application fee. To pass the exam and get ranked and to be selected by a college is based on their reservation candidates to get a different branch in different colleges to apply.
