Remarks

Minimum marks required there are 55% from any board. The very easy admission process, as well as counselling, is very easily understandable by everyone. I have not applied for any other college as I know that I applied for one of the best colleges in Amritsar.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I am a commerce student and I choose the CA field as my career so I think that b.com is the perfect course for me. In this college, the faculty is very polite and good and very helpful. All the faculty are highly qualified and their teaching methods are awesome

The companies like Wipro, PWC, Infosys visit every year in the college campus. And the main roles offered by them are salesman job. insurance company job. Many other companies are visited also. Offered another job also.

As the college fee is a bit more but according to the facility provided by the college, the fee is reasonable. There is various placement drive in the college every year. This year around 10-15 company visits to the college campus.

Many college fests are taken place every year around 6-10 fest are taken place. In which all the students can take part without any bias. There are around 20-30 extracurricular activities that take place every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, i was from commerce stream and the subjects in that were related to my field. I have a interest in accounting from the start when i chose commerce in my 11th. As everyone knows that Indian education system sometimes lacks the practical gaining but i took tally and other accounting practical knowledge during my study . Some subjects are quite difficult for me but the teachers helped a lot by giving remedial classes to the students for their preparations. The areas of improvement in teaching methods must be tht more practical exposure must be provided to the students because after their studies experience matters more not theoretical knowledge.

Secondly the subjects they have provided me and the way they have guided us with all kindness and in a very polite manner. The areas where they require improvement is that they should ask distance learner to come university once in a month to check the progress of child and to connect one personal teacher with child where one can ask doubts and queries easily.

A time I'll remember for the rest of my life

DAV did not require the students to sit through any entrance examinations.There was only this interview conducted before the admissions. For me the interview didn't present any real challenge. It was quite a basic one. I came to know about the college from one of my seniors in school who had joined DAV.
