Remarks

It has quite good staff, a very knowledgeable environment is also quite good and there are many sports options available. There were at least a week for counseling. I gave an entrance test which included the syllabus of class 12 for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it is more likely to grow in the future. All the teachers have done masters in the respective field and the way teachers teach us is quite simple and it was very easy to learn.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is available to students in the 4th year. They teach us mainly how should we act when we are working in a lab or working with machinery, working with various different chemicals. Overall the experience was quite good and I encourage other students to go through this experience as well.

Placement Experience

After the 6th semester, a student becomes eligible for placement. We visited the himalaya before. And many more places. The package offered by the companies are between 3-6 L per anum. Nearly 60-70 Percent of students get placed in very big companies such as Cipla ranbaxe etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to give fees in advance for a year i.e. 90,000. After the first year, you can also pay per semester and not all at once. Buses are also provided for those who come from distant places. Placements are also given to some students which are eligible for the job for at least 3-5 L per anum.

Campus Life

There are different types of sports available i.e. cricket, shot put, football, volleyball, basketball, etc. There is a Library available for each management, every type of book is available in the library which is quite good as some are rare to find.

They provide strong pharmaceutcal sciences foundation that influence my decision to take b pharmacy in GJU. This course need practical exposure that is laboratory training, industrial visits. the areas that required improvement is that they have a need to ,ake a more focus on entrepreneurship and start ups to build confidence in students. After 8th semester students are eligible for placements because without degree you are not able to do job because Pharmacy is totally based on medicine which effects human lives . There are more than 100 companies who visit Sgt University for off campus selection of students and interviews. Companies like sun pharma , appollo,mankind and many more companies, you can get about this on the official website of Sgt University. Highest package was of 22 lakhs from our Sgt college and average is around 5 lakhs. Percentage never makes students eligible for any kind of job , there are so many students who took job in best companies while in m pharm there was a student,he was having onle 64% and he took job in research and development field in very reputed company. I am planning to do job in any pharmaceuticals company for sometime and side by side I will prepare for govt exams because for government job like drug inspection you need atleast 18 months of job experience.

For this course minimum eligibility criteria is intermediate pass with medical background,the application form is available at college reception hence there is no entrence exam the admission is done at basis of 12th cut off and there is only 100 seats available,the application dates is changing but inbetween april to june,there is no application fees I have general category so i dont availed any reservations benefits Yes as my point of view there should be enterence exam for admission and make the admission process online so it would transparent to student who wants to get admission in college...Read More

I applied for MVN but was not able to join because of fees. AIP provided Post Matric Scholarship because of which I had to pay 20,000 rupees per year instead of 90,000 rupees. This Scholarship is available for SC students with low annual income. Minimum marks in 12th standard were 50% and age of 17 until 31 December of the year of enrollment.
