SIP Opportunities at IPE

The admission process at IPE was very systematic. It has 2 rounds 1. Group Discussion 2.Personal Interview The eligible candidates(i.e the students who have crossed the prescribed cut-offs in the entrance exams) need to apply for admission from the college website providing the required details. Once that is done, the college selects the candidates and intimates them via e-mail about their GD-PI round details including venue and dates, which generally happens either at Osmania University college office or Shamirpet campus. Once the certificate verification is done, candidates are divided into groups and sent for the GD round. Next, the selected candidates will be called for the interview process, in which we will ask questions about our graduation, work experience if any, and general questions about our personality, why MBA, etc. We will be given a form in which we can fill our branch preference and whether we wish to vail hostel or bus facilities. This process will be over in1-day.

Course circular is really upto the changing trends and industry-ready. The faculty members are well qualified and experienced. They provide good insights and guidance to the students. Each student is assigned with a mentor with whom they can communicate and address their issues.

Summer Internship opportunities are provided by the 2nd trimester itself. There is a student SIP(Summer Internship Program) body guided by faculty members dealing with the internships. All the students bag atleast one or more than one internship opportunity. Some of the companies offering internships are Deloitte, ICICI, Metric4Analytics, SBI, RBI, Motilal and Oswald etc. Some of the students who perform well at the internship will be offered a Pre-Placement Offer from the companies. Once the internship is done students need to provide a detailed report and presentation about their work in the college.

Campus placements are provided to the students from the 5th trimester onwards in which various top MNCs recruit students as per their requirement. There is a placement committee comprising of both students and faculty members which looks into the placements. In 2020 98% of the students were placed with the highest package being 20.84L and the average being 6.05L. The list of companies that offer placements and summer internships are available on the college website some of the top ones include Deloitte, Amazon, TCS, Invesco, Oracle, Arcesium,Federal bank,ITC, etc

Ist year fees- 4,55,000 IInd year fees- 3,60,000 Hostel fees--1,50,000(single occupancy)/yr , 1,05,000(double occupancy)/yr College provides scholarships to the students based on their scores in the entrance tests whose details are provided on the college website. They provide access to student loans by guiding them to certain banks as well.

Shamirpet campus is a 20acre campus with lush green and one of the best infrastructures in the state management colleges. Centralized AC classrooms. Fully equipped gymnasium, sports facilities, playgrounds, indoor stadiums, Canteen facilities, Huge library with excellent collection and e-library facilities, easy access to journals, Bloomberg platform for courses, seperate hostels for boys and girls with 24hrs medical assistance. The college has various clubs like Cultural club, Social club, Quiz club, Operations club, Photography club, Book reader's club, etc which are run by students who enthusiastically conduct both cultural and technical events which help students in their overall development to nurture a manager in them. Various ethnic events and festivals are celebrated. The flagship Event is "Sanskithi"

Hostel facilities at IPE are excellent. Following are amenities provided -24x7 WIFI -Centralised AC rooms - 24hrs medical facilities - Furnished rooms - Hot water supply Affordable accommodation is provided The quality of the food provided by the college canteen is very edible. There is a mess committee, the student's body which looks into the hygiene of the food and the menu.

Group discussion was the first round in which 10 memebers participated in each group. My topic was- Whether social media has a good or bad impact on today's youth The interview process was on the same day Questions asked 1. Why MBA? 2.Why IPE? 3. Why are you shifting your career from Engineering to management? 4.Why did you leave the job and why did you choose finance as your preferred course? 5. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What did you do to overcome your weakness? 6. Why the career gap? 7.Tell me about yourself 8.About work experience I have prepared for these rounds by attending mock GDs and Interviews
