Remarks
Meerut Institute of engineering and technology (MIET) is a part of MIET group. It is a private engineering institute affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow. It has been awarded 'B++' grade by NAAC . Regarding the admission process, it is really very simple as one can fill the registration form online which are available on the online portal designed for the college information. There is a total of 100 seats for the course so the first 100 students with decent marks are being alloted. Once you have filled the form then according to the marks obtained, they select you for the seat and then you obtain a call for the further process. I didn't avail any quota. The minimum mark for the students to pursue the course was 70%. There was a counseling day in which a short introduction was held with all the other formalities including the submission of the documents and the fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am absolutely satisfied with the hard-working faculty members, the courses curriculum is fabulous. Everything we require to study in pharmacy is easily accessible to all and the fine equipment is tremendous. I choose this course as I belong to a biology background and pharmacy provides the best career opportunities for growth in the coming era. There are a total of 100 seats and around 8 teachers teach the subjects plus there are more specialized teachers for the practical subjects and experimentation. The teachers are very helpful and kind. They have very good knowledge about their subjects. They are very approachable and never say no. The exam system is based semester-wise. The proper hard work and the follow-up with the teachers can help students to qualify for the exams easily.
Fees and Financial Aid
The 4-year course demands the fees of 2.53 lacs, which I think is very affordable given the services which is provided. Other colleges may have a fee hike policy but not in the MIET college. There are several scholarship scheme available but they are mostly for the people belonging to quota. But there could be concession in the fees given the financial status of an individual's family . As I have not got any job yet because my plans are not for pursuing the job, my main focus is still to get through the exams and score decent marks.
Campus Life
Life at Meerut institute of engineering and technology is amazing. There is very less restrictions as compared to other colleges. All the students are fully allowed to explore the campus . The hygiene and cleanliness are something which is considered to be the utmost priority of the campus. There are beautiful gardens and trees, which are taken well care of. The amenities in classes are amazing as there are very well ventilated classrooms which are big in size and are very accomodating. Sound systems and all the equipments for the presentation are very well arranged with latest technology. The library is big enough and all the latest books and jounals are easily available. There are lots and lots of sports activities held in the Campus, any student can appear if they are interested. Social groups are also formed by the students for any query or problem if faced.
