Remarks
The admission process was significant. After I applied for my course one of the admission council handlers of the college approached me after looking into the marks that I have scored in my board examinations. And told me that that I'm selected for the course I have chosen. To get selected one must minimum score of 80% in their board examination. After I confirm with them, they guided me about my course and apprenticeship program that is part of my course. Each year 6 months I have to study in my college and remaining 6 months I have an apprenticeship program where I have to work for a logistics company. The admission process was quite quick. And there was no sort of counseling day. Once u r eligible u will be approached by the college authority.
Course Curriculum Overview
My passion is to work in the logistics sector. So I searched for a BBA logistics course and found that my colleagues have this course and I applied for it. There are 7 teachers for every class of 64 students to handle their subject. Every teacher has a qualified MSc and some have completed a Ph.D. in their respective subject. The examination conducted by me is quite standard. Standard software is used to avoid malpractices. And questions in exams are testing our intellectual skills.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Mahindra and Bigbasket have offered apprenticeship programs with stipends of 9000- 14000 which do not cover food and accommodation. The selected person is assigned with work of warehouse executive where one must look under shipping and handling. This is a great experience and gains so so much knowledge.
Placement Experience
After 5 th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Top Companies like Mahindra, Ecom expresses, Big basket has visited our college and offers made are quite satisfying. Some of the companies had offered 5.5 Lacs per year. And almost 85% have been placed in various companies. After my degree, my plan is to do MBA in IIM and to work in a great logistics company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my quite high compared to other colleges in Coimbatore. And scholarships are available for below poverty line students. I haven't applied for the scholarship so i have to pay full fee. First sem fee is 64000 and from second sem onwards ots 57500.
Campus Life
Annual fests and programs conducted by my college are great. Even in the lockdown period, they had conducted many arts and cultural programs through online mode. And recognized every individual talent of the student. Our college has a great library and every sort of book are available there. Classrooms are cleaned and a smartboard is available in every class. Our college promotes sports and conducts an annual sport meet every year. There are NCC and many social welfare groups formed by students in our college
