Entrance Preview

12th cut off mark made me choose this college .On my own interest I had chosen this course . For my cutoff this was the good college .This college doesn't have any extra fees, so I choose this college.

Internships Opportunities

No such internship is offered in that college .They won't provide any stipend . They conduct industrial visit for the final year student, which was 5days .

Placement Experience

Not bad . Now many companies are coming for placement. Now many companies are coming with good packages, which looks to be so healthy for both college and the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, they will provide scholarship and also loan . They provide yearly scholarship according to the cast basis , not according to mark . Loans are provided by college . I have availed scholarship in this college .

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

I opted due to mode of transport, I. e, train. In and around Chennai, colleges loot money in the name of transport and food. This college doesn't meet this criteria. It is just like government college, which is under court judge control due to management problem. Joined the college by getting admitted letter and paid fees. Fees as per government mandated.
