I didn't take any entrance exams. I joined this college with my Higher Secondary School final exam mark cutoff. I joined this college as I liked to choose a college from Chennai which is available for my cutoff mark.

Yes. But I(we) didn't had any opportunities during our span, as they were not able to afford the budget, horrible is not. But when we're in final year our juniors has opportunities.

We did had placement and job opportunities, but for mechanical department we had nothing. No mech core companies walked for the placement. All we received is Offers from BPO's. Most of the companies walked in are purely software based IT companies targeting for CSC and IT department students.

Our college is worst in this part. They don't care about the people engagement. Even if students were willing to participate in events conducted from other colleges the faculties wouldn't allow them. The only function I participated is every years new joiners orientation.

As I got admitted through anna university counselling I was asked to pay only the fees structure provided by the university. Which is around 36000 per semester. But I've heard some of my friend's have joined by paying donation of 1 lakh and even more.

Yes they did allow some scholarship for SE/ST, but I'm not qualified as I belong to BC. I felt like the Scholarship should be based on the revenue of the family not their caste.

Campus life was fun filled as you'll always be with your friends. Inter department sports competition makes the life more interesting. Each and every game have always been a last minute thriller. We had a very good batch of athletes so the Competition was always healthy.

First of all, I need to mention that during our first semester, they didn't have enough room to accommodate all the students inside the College hostel. So they have arranged a private hostel which is around 6 KMs.

We had lot of leisure time. There were exams conducted but not that hectic. Labs were always enjoyable as the concerned faculties are good and they made us learn the syllabus practically. I wouldn't say we have a very good lab structure but we have a decent one.

With the Cutoff mark I took in +2, I applied for the Anna University Chennai for Counselling in which we'll be able to choose a College from the list of Colleges affiliated with Anna university Chennai. Based on the Cutoff mark we'll be allocated a date and time and will be asked to visit Anna University and then we'll be asked to choose from the available Colleges.

We had some decent faculties with good subject knowledge. But as you guess there were some useless faculties as well. They just read the content from the book and to make it worse they ask us to take notes. Why should we take notes of the same content which I already have in book.
