Entrance Preview

I took University entrances, scored 58/100, only 4 seats were available. I made through entrance, viva, coursework, personal interview and finally submitted my synopsis yesterday on 17.10.2016. Since the university is A grade, within Gujarat and guide for my topic was available, hence I chose this university.

Internships Opportunities

I am not much aware about internship, never inquired as I belongs to logistic industry and employed as a General Manager.

Placement Experience

Since PhD is a supreme course and there are plenty of opportunities may come for a researcher, I never asked traced for placement after PhD course. Since I am already employed basis my knowledge and experience of 16 years in shipping industry. I never asked / checked on university placement cell on job opportunities.

College Events

Since I am doing my research outside the campus and full time employed, never paid attention on events conducted by university but they are conducting various debates, conferences at various levels but unfortunately. I never participated in any of the events organised by our university.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I am employed outside the place, never inquired by loan facility but I am sure that all research scholar can opt for loan for their research work but never inquired with the university.

Admission

There are steps to get admission into PhD Course, Saurashtra university follows the below pattern Entrance Test, Research Proposal submission Viva, Summarised ppt, if cleared through above process, admission process began and once admitted to the course, university ask to finish the coursework and training at campus for 18 days and submit the report, once done, than only student can proceed to research work.

Faculty

Most of the professors are holding Doctorate degree which is beyond any other degree and guide is extremely talented and co-operative. Either its a guide or the professor, they are available to the students 24x7 and ready to assist at any given stage.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after first semester in MBA as students have to compulsorily do summer internship. highest package last year was around 12lpa and average package being 7lpa. if prepared well for the interview rounds with the company, you can get a good placement but you have to take first mover advantage.

Placement Experience:

good placements, avg is 6.5/7 ctc and in hand avg goes arounf 5 lpa, highest 17 lpa, lowest 4 lpa, median should be around 5 lpa, this is as per my batch(batch 23-25) it is similar in other batches and 80/90% students get placed easily if they are good and the placement cordinator also try to get the rest placed where the batch have achieves 100% almost every year. there are options after college if you dont get placement from college because it is core mba with subjects marketing finance and hr.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is hectic and keeps you busy. But the faculty is amazing. Geniuses of the country surround you. 5 sections 90 students each. FABM students study with PGP students for the 1st year. Electives are chosen in the second year. All schedules are pre-decided. The whole curriculum is tough but there is relative grading and thus you can pass if you give your best.

Career development in IMNU

Remarks:

The University is one of the top private universities in India. Ranked 2nd among Best colleges in Gujarat by Times. After reading this article, I searched its official website online and read it's detailed brochure and couldn't stop myself from the application form and the second reason were my grandparents as they live in Gujarat. It asked me to fill all my personal details regarding 12th marksheet scoring 72% and BBA in which I scored 75%. Further I gave CAT exam with 85 percentile. After submitting all these documents I got call from the university accepting my admission.

A best University for best learners...

I've choose this college because this is the nearest college from my residence and I'm a regular student so need to reach college at time so I've choose this...there are many other colleges but I can't reach at time because of distance issue...and this is most famous government college in my city...I've applied offline by visiting college and I've got addmission same day but now if any students want to join this college they'll need to apply online first for admission then the college will review your documents...after submitting documents you'll get confirmation of addmission if your addmission is confirmed then you'll need to submit your physical documents by visiting that college...after completing your addmission you'll need to pay the fees by visiting bank... unfortunately there not option to pay fees online...take the fees receipt from college and go to bank to pay it......Read More
