Best-transforming B-School.!!

It was long process of applying to different institutes and going through GD and PI. I also took suggestions from my friends and former teachers and only then I decided that IKM Business School would be beneficial to me as is one of the best-transforming B-Schools in the country offering industry oriented programs in different streams of management Education. The application here was done through the online process and it was a merit based process.

It was designed with inputs by industry experts to groom us for the competitive and fast-growing sector of Business Analytics. The curriculum was been prepared with industry requirements in mind and it emphasized practical, application-oriented learning. It included Internal test, Assignments, Seminar presentation, Class tests, Preparatory theory and practical examination, and Term end theory and practical examination. And most importantly, the program was taught by corporate experts and they were selected with the utmost care from some of the best colleges and universities of the country.

Placement here was great as they considered it a top priority and strived to guarantee maximum placements. Students are groomed in such a way that offered us an edge whenever we join any company. There was also a permanent placement committee that coordinated all placement activities as a liaison in between us and the organization. Companies that visited us during the placement drive include HCL, Airtel, Aditya Birla Group, Infosys, Cognizant, etc.

The tuition fees was INR 5 lakhs but it does not include other costs like hostel and mess, they are to be paid separately by the ones who opt for it. I had to further spend money on books and travel, and other small expenses. The scholarships and financial assistances were only available on need and merit basis.

Although we were mostly busy with our back to back lectures and the rigorous curriculum, I would say that campus life here was pretty amazing as a lot of attractions and relaxing places were there on-campus that included our common room, sports complex, and we also had the opportunity to participate in several quizzes, events, competitions, and more more things. The facilities that were made available to us include a huge library, 24x7 WIFI, latest equipment in lab along with high-tech classrooms.
