Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculam included the basics of civil engineering like engineering graphics, auto cadd etc and also the core civil like structural analysis I & II. We also had surveying labs.

Internships Opportunities

No internship provide by my college.

Placement Experience

Only small companies came for placement. Only one core company-L&T.

College Events

College celebrated Technical symposium, cultural fest( best thing in college), sports day. Cultural fest is the biggest event where almost everybody participates.

Scholarships are offered by college for OBC, SC and ST.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
