Journey of Riyanka in Insd Laketown .

The admission process was very smooth. I had contacted the college and they provided me with an academic counsellor. She guided me through the process. After filling the form of registration I was informed I was selected and then I had paid my college fee online. As the pandemic is going on there was no counselling day. I was provided with the college id soon after my payment was made. Everything went very smoothly.

The faculty is very cooperative and helpful. The teachers are highly qualified and very hard working. They pay attention to each and every student and attend to every queries that we students have. Right now we are doing our classes online. And we have 5 people in our zoom batch. The batch is numbered so it's very convenient for the teachers to concentrate on every student. I have taken up the course Advance Diploma in Fashion and Technology and up til now the teacher's we had are all well qualified with Fashion Degrees and are very up to date as they are very young.

As of now, I'm still a student who is pursuing her Fashion Degree but when it will be my training period it will be under a well known company like Mark and Spencer's, Fashion Land, Pc Chandra, Benetton etc.

The fee is not too low neither extremely high. The college has an EMI and lumpsum policy of paying the fees. They also have a scholarship policy for students who have scored 80% and above in board exams and have shown outstanding results in the field of art and academics consistently. The scholarship is also available for underprivileged students.

We don't have any annual fest or Tech Fest but being a Fashion College we have Couture runway week and Asian Designer week. Also, we have a Kids fashion week where the Designer students make garments for kids. We have a very small library. For amenities, we have Wifi and computers. In extracurricular activities, we have workshop, seminars, industry visits. Insd Laketown has a Page on Facebook and also an Instagram page for Students and for promoting their works.
