Entrance Preview

Admission in the course was based on high school marks. I chose the Amity because of its reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was pretty broad. There were subjects like Biotech, Management, Pharmacology etc but the curriculum was not upto the international standards.

Placement Experience

Placements was fine and fee students were placed in companies like GSK, Abbott, Sanofi. Highest package was 3.65.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs were chilled out but sometimes the days were hectic so much because of long labs 4 hours continuously and then theory classes.

Every department has some cons and pros. There were some teachers who were very cooperative with students and always there to solve any query. But few were very arrogant.

Overall experience is good

Placement Experience:

students are eligible for the placements from seventh semester and for best placements they also conduct the employebility assessments to prepare the students for placement drives . as fresher they offer salary of 3-3.5 lakh per year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In current scenarios b pharma is one of the best option to pursue carrier for becoming drug inspector or pharmacist. The frequency of exam is after every 3 months we have to give sessional exams followed by annual exams ( theory + practicals).

Decent College with Average Facilities and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Simple College with Average Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is rapid growth for my course that is the reason I choose this course. We have practical and theoretical classes to enhance our knowledge. I think we should learn visually such as in AV labs how the laboratory works in industries
