SHUBHJEET's Review On Career Point University - [CPU], Kota

JEE MAINS 2013,scored 71,had some personal issues so decided to stay at rajasthan, was looking at some good colleges of jaipur at the beginning ,later come to know about career point university from a relative in kota.

Course curriculum is quite easy for any level of student,system(exam pattern)is only followed as IITS or in IIM but the course is generally setup by the university department looking at the standard of the students,overall the curriculum is quite influenced by rajasthan technical university(rtu).

No,college does not provide internship at the moment,its a newly developing university,still the first btech batch is to be graduated next year. So need to give some time,still now from the 4th year a few students had internship last summer,one had in iit mumbai,few in some industries in kota, stipend heard was about 5 thousand a month.

Placement is quite good till now, the first batch is about to be graduated next year and a quite a few good companies have visited till now, with hcl & sony india pvt ltd visiting in the last one month.

Loan is offered by the college indirectly with ICICI bank,lots of scholarships available at the time of admission according to the academic performance of the students in 12th or JEE mains.

Robotics is conducted every year in the even semester, plus robot race is conducted in the fest as well which have turned out to be a great attraction of the fest for school students visiting the fest.

Exam structure is very suitable for students. 1st minor minor-written exam-15 marks. 2nd minor written exam-15 marks and assignment with 10 marks. A major exam with 40 marks and 10 marks assignment with 5 marks every semester for attendance and 5 marks for activities.

Faculty are mostly new,not much teaching experience but fresh graduates teaching also helps with better understanding with the present generation.
