Remarks

Our college is one of the best college in the region. I loved my college because of its higher standards of education and qualified faculties. In college we were facilitated to develop our skills and enhance knowledge too.

Entrance Preview

I opt for virani science collage because I wanted to take course of biochemistry. I have passed 12th science board exam. There were no enterence exams at that time. This course has so many scopes ranging from pharma field to research and education to dietatics.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is great. It contained of call biology, immunology and genetics, which are in particular associated with research. This course has good focus on research. Other electives like metabolism, enzymology, cell, biology, human physiology helped in understanding the biochemical processes occuring in the body. All the electives are very interesting and have wide scopes for research.

Internships Opportunities

No for BSc Biochemistry, college do not provide any internship. There is no stipend provides by the college. B.Sc Biochemistry course so not have any elective for internship. For other courses it might be there.

Placement Experience

1.5

No on campus placement my course is only batcheral degree. The subject is very vast. Normally in applied sciences, we need to take masters degree for getting placement. After B.Sc one can not be taken by any pharma company as such. So for this particular course there were no placement in campus held. For other courses it might be there.

College Events

3

In college mostly all festivals celebrated. Also science symposium and conferences held every year. We want for trip also. And of course DAY celebration we celebrated chocolate day, rose day, color day and so on. There was special celebration on teachers day also. In our college many spiritual seminar and sessions were held. They helped me to stay focused and concentrate on my future plans. All the extracurricular activities helped a lot for shaping good personality within.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I was getting scholarships and the fees were very nominal. Some around 1000rs for a year. There was only once in a year payment of fees. The college provides various said financed courses too. But as I was ranked higher in merrit I got admission in grant aid course. Also being a girl i was not suppose to pay more fees. All my academic expences were covered by scholarship. I haven't paid more than 1000 rs. For a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholarship was offered and I availed it too. I availed scholorship by government. The information was provided by college. It made easier for me to study such nice course. Otherwise I would have not afforded the course. I am thankful of college for providing me good scholarship facility and help me in studies.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio was almost equal. There was no differentiation between students of different economic background. Student diversity was varied. We all were treated equally by teachers and I never felt any bias between groups. There was good tolerance regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. No difference between girls and boys.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

I was not staying in hostel. I was living with my parents. The college do have hostel facility but as my home is in the city i was not staying in hostel. My friends were staying in hostel and their experiences were good. They said the good is good and they also get treet once in a week.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Our seniors were used to come at department and tell with us regarding futur scopes. They also helped me to take admission in masters course. I am also going to college sometime for helping my juniors.

Exam Structure

Thelab was in alternate days. But it was easy to manage for me to study and do part time job the ruling was morning 7.30 am to 2.00 pm. It was perfect blend of study and chill out. Exams were written as well as viva for all the theory and pan courses. We all enjoyed a lot all study lectures, pan practices and examinations. There were only 2 exams in a year so we chill out a lot.

Faculty

3.5

All the faculties were highly qualified and expert in their subject. All my teachers helped me to understand subjects. Our faculties told PhD degree and they are very supportive. They helped me to cultivate interest and find out my area of interest for further studies and placement scopes. All lab classes were very intense and enabled us to work proficiently.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The student ratio is a bit higher as mostly the females prefer to do forensics sciences. The male ratio is lesser than the female one. In my class, the ratio of males to female is about two ratios eight. The exam is not as hard and it's on a basic level as compared to that of the Jai and its level but as the University has started itself from the beginning, the level is getting harder.
