Siddhartha Group of an institution, Dehradun is a part of Uttrakhand Technical University. This college also offers other courses in Law and nursing. Admissions can be merit-based or via direct admission. It has a good campus area and is very much affordable than other private colleges with similar facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview
The demand for medical specialist has drastically increased especially in the era of the coronavirus. Everyone is looking forward to getting a solution to this virus. This itself defines how important is the role of a pharmacist or pharmaceutical scientist in today's world. This is the sole reason for me to choose this course. Teachers are well qualified with masters and PhD holders. They are well experienced and have very good teaching methods.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for campus placement in the 8th semester. Companies like Cipla, dr reddy, Ranbaxy etc visit the campus and provide the maximum number of offers to the eligible students. An average package of 4 lakhs per annum is offered to the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the college are affordable for the student. According to the percentage of marks scored in the semester examination students are provided with scholarship (75% and above). Even the college authority provides financial assistance to the student who has a poor economic background.
Campus Life
The college organises fresher's welcome party and farewell party for final year student each year. Books by the best author are available in the library for the student to access. Students are provided digital classes to increase the interest in studies. The college organizes an annual sports week in the month of February .they even provide an opportunity for the student to practice basketball, volleyball as well as cricket and badminton on the college campus itself.
