Remarks

The college has a good atmosphere with a park, nearby my state so preferred this over others, I found out this college from my seniors who had earlier completed their course from here and they praise it well.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My father is also in this profession so I took inspiration from him, faculty members are highly knowledgeable and teach in very layman's terms so as to make us understand. Exams are always held timely and we have to put inefficient efforts to pass them as they are quite tough to crack.

Internships Opportunities

4

An internship here though I have not yet reached as per my seniors they are quite happy doing internship from here. They get to do a lot of patients and gain experience. They face lots of new ailments and are happy to treat them and earn knowledge in dentistry.

Placement Experience

4

Campus placement begins after the years of internship after we complete the 4 years course. After I get the degree I plan to practise in my father's clinic for a few years till I do my MDS. Then I plan to apply for a government hospital job in my place. I also plan to run my clinic.

Fees and Financial Aid

College charges 400000 per annum, it is quite affordable as the college provides enough resources and equipment according to the fee structure. Job opportunities are quite good since I have heard from my seniors who have passed out from this college and have an established dental clinic.

Campus Life

4.5

Annuals fest is conducted in a grand way in this college where well-known performers are invited to perform. Sports, as well as other extra curriculum activities as well as competitions, are held during annuals and prizes are given away. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and podiums and well-placed desks.

Hostel Facilities

3

Rooms are well furnished. There are two types of rooms one with three accommodation and the other with two accommodation. Rooms have attached balconies and are well ventilated. Meals are not good. Sometimes there is no taste at all and there are uncooked vegetables sometimes in the curry provided which is unacceptable.

Interview Experience

4

Firstly I had prepared for my all India National entrance eligibility test examinations. After acquiring the required quota of marks and rank I got selected for the BDS course and this college hereby. Admission depends on the qualifications of National entrance eligibility test examinations, the percentile of marks and your personal interview which is quite simple.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is in vicinity to the place I live so was somewhat familiar with the institute. I wanted to study western medicine / allopathy. Couldn't get MBBS through NEET , so BDS was the second best option I was left with to make an indivitualistic existence in the field of medicine. The course curriculum is upto the mark. But without the professors' personal insight , professional experience and processed information the syllabus , books or the curriculum is far from incomplete. Areas of improvement would be constantly trying to update the college as much as possible , which they must be trying to do , as I like to see changes around me. The timings and areangement in exams are determined by reliable faculties so its something I wish to get familair with.

One thing of my college is very bad . My college is very back in technology and instruments used in our college as compare to today's life All the facilities teach thorough the power point(ppt). But some teach from text book. Many faculty tell to buy new books of particular topic and they did not allow library books

BDS is a good carrier option as you get the title of a doctor . A lot of practice will shape you as practice makes a doctor perfect and as here in this college is a very good patient flow... That really helps to make you a good dentist.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is followed well. But sudden changes in the rules are managed very badly where the students have to suffer like they created a supplementary batch from 2020 batch onwards. Exams are conducted well and the difficulty level is good. The curriculum definitely prepares us for the real world applications as we do a lot if patients under the guidance of our professors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This BDS degree is highly specific in my vision because yiu have to deal with a patient having a particular location or area's problem. There is slightly need for the improvement in clinical areas as in some department there is lack of the presence of faculties. So talking about exams, here 3 internal assessment is taken within the duration of 3 months gap and after that one university exam is conducted the session range between 9-10months and the difficulty is moderate.
