Entrance Preview

As per TN Anna Univ. norms, clearing the HSC examinations would be enough. So, once after clearing the HSC examinations, apply for the counselling at Anna University.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is as per the university standards only. As prescribed by Anna University, the subjects and syllabus are given to us and taught. Lab facilities need to be improved to a greater level. Overall the experience is average.

Internships Opportunities

No internships were provided as far as I remember from the college management/authority.

Placement Experience

When I was studying only 2 big companies came for the campus placement. Mostly, management was not much concentrated on this aspect. As on one of the 2 days of the campus placements(with 2 companies) neither College chairman not Principal came to college and welcomed the recruiters.

College celebrated Technical fests & symposiums, national and international level conferences.

Faculties available in the college are good and nowadays even the people completed their graduation year back are also joining as faculties here. So, sometimes those people will not be having much experience on the subject.

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.
