Remarks

The college has broadened my mind and taught me about things in life I never knew about. It is an experience like none indeed.

Entrance Preview

I gave NATA for Architecture and scored 100, which wasn't good enough for a good Architecture college, plus my father got transferred to Pondicherry mid term, and no college took me in but AASC.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The time management part of the curriculum is highly non impressive, due to which the days allotted for holidays is 25 or so. The college restricts mobiles or any sort of gadgets, and limits the dress code only to chudidhars, taking away your sense of individuality. It is more or less like my school, only stricter.

Internships Opportunities

The college sets high standards for students. I'm doing my third year and the college had announced that only the students that have passed would be allowed for internship. The internship was canceled afterwards.

Placement Experience

2

The placement provided by the college is only for BPOs. The students who want a job in the technical field have to look for the job outside, the college helps in no apparent way. The college makes sure the BPO jobs are allotted to the students of our college with primary concern.

College Events

1.5

The events that are celebrated in the college are ABL which stands for Achariya Business League. It is a competition for people of the Commerce department. Digitrix which is for the people of the computer science department. There are meditation campaigns and first aid awareness in the college too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is subjective. It might be feasible for people who are rich and expensive for the poor. But considering the fact that the college is located in Villianur and it is a village, it can be said it's expensive. And personally, I'd like to share that I came here from a government college in Mumbai, which was way better facilitated, where I used to pay 26,000 per year. This college takes 48,000 per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is a thing of a past in the college due to reasons unknown. There used to be scholarship until just last year.

Campus Life

1

There are many workshops conducted in the college and the workshops that are conducted are very helpful. They teach us about different aspects of life. From Money management to the peace within yourself. We are taught little things in these workshops which are of great help.

Hostel Facilities

2

I am in contact with the hostel students and all of them are unsatisfied with the water, the food, and the rooms based on the quality. A friend of mine got urinary infection. I would like to rate the hostel dangerous. The power cuts and the warden are equally bad, I've heard.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are sometimes helpful and sometimes they're not. There used to be a huge network of juniors and seniors that gathered together for notes and other events in my previous college, I see none here.

Exam Structure

The exams and the labs both go to the university, and the marks in no way match the marks that we deserve. The reevaluation of marks take time, instead of which the students prefer paying for the exams. The reevaluation method can't be trusted anymore.

Faculty

0.5

The amount and quality of the education that the staff has received is clearly less than that of mine. The college is situated in a village, so the staff recruited are villagers. They are vindictive, and narrow minded. Their patriarchal ideas diminish our visions of ourselves. They teach only because they like to dominate.
