GMERS Gandhinagar has a very friendly yet competitive environment in terms of studies. First, a year which forms the base of MBBS is very systematic in terms of teaching, taking classes, completing the syllabus, taking tests time to time, practicals, and overall evaluation grooming of students with supportive faculty. Civil Hospital has a lot of patients it being a major hospital in Gandhinagar. Clinical exposure in 2nd and 3rd yr is comparatively less but an internship is strict and gives you a lot of exposure and experience as a clinician. Hostel room is spacious enough with 2 students in each room. It has a common washroom per floor. Hostel environment is friendly. Good tiffin service is available for people who dont like a mess. Any complaints regarding room or hostel can be registered to the warden. There are medical shops, stationery shop, chai, snacks, and includes most of the prime requirements for people living in hostel.

The faculty is qualified and experienced enough to teach and support students with academics. Term exams and evaluation of students are taken time to time especially in 1st and 2nd year which helps in proper grooming of the students.

The internship is quite strict and systematic in our college. Also during the pandemic interns from our college have served enough. The stipend is around 12000 Rs. Internship in our college is enough to get good clinical exposure and experience as a clinician.

There is nothing much regarding placements in the medical field. Future plans usually include pg courses like MD or MS according to one's own wish. The environment of college is quite competitive and seniors are helpful and supportive.

Fees: 300000 per year for government quota students. Hostel fees: 6000 per year. Mess fees: 2100 per month. Scholorships are also available accordingly. Books for each subject is ofcourse costly. You need to buy journals for each subject and stethoscope.

We have Navratri, Freshers Days, Cultural fest, Sports week which is something everyone looks forward to. You get to try everything new and get to learn organizing and participating both. It is filled with fun and new experiences. Don't miss out on anything.

The hostel has a friendly atmosphere. Each room has two beds, two table, two chairs, two cupboards. 2 students per room. The washroom is the common per floor. There is the cleaning of rooms and floor every morning. Washrooms are clean. Meal quality in the mess is not up to the mark but we have good tiffin service and also other mess around so you can opt for that according to your convenience.
