Remarks

The college needs a lot of improvements the professors needs to adopt new teaching methods with a serious approach, the college needs to first train the students and than expect the good placement.

Entrance Preview

I took CAT 2012. I got 94.74 Percentile in the CAT exam. I had options like IMT Dubai and other college but with a fee of more than 10 Lacs. So the only reason for me to choose NDIM is low fee structure. The other thing is that I was from small town and hence not have much information about these college at that time. So Lack of knowledge and Fee constraints pushed me to select the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum and the approach is ineffective. Its outdated and does not stand any value in today's world. There is no encouragement for students to research. Even the 40% of summer projects of students are purchased and 40% are copy pasted. The irony is that professors know it and does not care about it, so the rest 20% students who research on something feels demotivated. Elective: The college provides No/limited choice to select the electives. The curriculum is almost fixed. You does not have the option to select any subject until you are in your last semester where you choose the foreign language that you want to learn with two options of German and French.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, for the name sake the college does provide internship. The college is unable to get good companies for internship 70% students choose internship from college. But no one gets any stipend. The companies just provide them the certificate 10% students does arrange a certificate from their contacts and submit it to the college, Hence no internship 19% students are being provided certificate from the professors. Because the visiting faculty have some sort of business. So what they do is that they take a 2 hr weekly class in college itself and provide a certificate for the training. This is shameful, but its true 1% students who have money can opt for foreign internship. But its quite expensive in 1.5 to 2 lacs range. But you do not learn any thing, Its just like a holiday trip for the rich brats.

Placement Experience

2

The placement efforts from the college end is quite average. If you are from finance background than there is going to be limited opportunities. The summary can be like this Finance: Package range: 2 lacs to 3.5 lacs.; Number of Companies: 20+ (Mostly banks with clerical jobs); Examples of companies: Banks, WNS, Deloitte; Marketing: Package range: 2 lacs to 9 lacs; Number of companies: 50+; Examples: Asian Paints, J&J, Colgate etc. Overseas placement opportunity was provided by only 1 company at my time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. Its not very expensive in my time the fee was around 5 lacs. which was payable in 4 parts. So this was not a big burden as its the lowest compared to its competitors the college also have tie ups with banks for the loan facility the college does not have any scholarship program.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship from the college's end the only scholarship was offered by TATA group through a national research paper competition. The college has nothing to do with it. But the college promotes such events as if they are providing the scholarships. The college just informs you about these sort of national events open for everyone to participate. About the Loan facility, the college does provide the loan facilities for the fees. They have tie up with banks and helps students to avail the loan.

Campus Life

0.5

Campus life depends on what is you motive. if you want to enjoy, you can do it with everyone's permission. But if some one wants to make career, get ready for lots of hurdles. You can see professors smoking with students in the parking. That describes how the campus life can be. Gender ratio is quite low. In my batch there was less than 25% girls. Workshops are jokes. I even laugh at it after 2 years. They organize workshop in which students gather and clear the parking and other areas as their are Cigarette filters, Pan Masala pouches and Beer bottles lying and stinking in the area. Students are not of very diverse background. 50% are local students and rest are of nearby states with almost similar cultural background.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The exact words for the hostel facility the college does not provide any hostel facility but has a tie up with the local PG service providers and pretends to the students that this is their hostel. But the truth is that it is the local PG service providers which gives commission to the college for each students referred. Event those PG will ask a six month of advance if you are referred by the college but if you go their on your own you can rent with only a months advance payment. This is how the college loots students.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not very effective as most of the students passed out are not satisfied. They do not maintain the connection with the college and college also do not provide them any facility after they passout. The college invites them to the annual fest the college also organizes a coffee meeting every week for alumni students in cities like Gurgaon, Banglore etc. But hardly any one attends. I also have invite But did not attested.

Exam Structure

The exam are structure like a class 3 students. First test, Second test, Third test and the final terms. In a semester its like almost every month is of exam and if you want to work on some research, the exams will be a constraint. There is not lab except a computer lab which is a part of the curriculum and it does not affect you much as its a weekly an hour class.

Admission

I applied online. Called for the interview on some day. The first round was of Group Discussion with a batch size of 7. I think the group discussion was not the to shortlist students but only to rate them on Communication. So after the group discussion every one was interviewed in my batch. The interview panel consisted 2 professors. General questions about GDP, Economics etc were asked. Than after 2-3 days I received the offer letter for the admission.

Faculty

1

Its a mix pack. Some faculty is of really high quality, but they can be counted on fingers. But the large chunk of faculty members specially the permanent faculty members are pathetic. There is a difference in the attitude of the permanent faculty members as they care less about the students and even some faculty members openly talks like " I will get my salary every month, So you decide how do you want to study". The only exception in the permanent faculty is faculty members from economics department. Rest the faculty of finance are the worst and marketing department is no way better than the finance faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college has good placement opportunities. I can get a job easily in good companies and can secure the financial condition ofh family. The curriculum is not very helpful in the real world. But we pursue internships which really helps in learning. The facilities punctuality and time table followup are very necessary. There is really need of construction of extra rooms for classes. As there is a lot of overlap in the allotments of rooms in each hours for every department and every section. The frequency of exams is not very high but their difficulty level is very high. They takes two' internals per months.for a student who is coming from a small town cannot really be prepared.and faces a lot of difficulty

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course at this university because this uni is highly rated for MBA in India with a top position. The faculty is humble in nature with enormous skills to support their scholars whereas the ratio of student-faculty is approximately 1:15. Besides this, the staff members have gained advanced knowledge with experience and demonstrate most of the topic with modern equipment. Exams are held on a timely basis as well as sharp to pass a student need to study hard to pass their test.
