Remarks

The college life is best part of a person's life. It is a begining of adulthood life. Our college ensure to give a better campus life to all those who enrolled.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I opted was m.com that is masters in commerce, commerce is a subject which requires recent updations. And my main subjects where finance and taxation. Taxtion is something that changes or vary from year to year. Every year updation of text books where made accordingly.

Placement Experience

Placement is only factor which have a negative mark about our college. Eventhough placement cells are inactive, our faculty provide special class for students for cracking the exams like NET, SET, etc.

College Events

Entrepreneurial fest is conducted every year under the guidance of commerce department. This is to find out the entrepreneurial skills among the young talents. Every stundents of our department should participate in the fest. It is an opportunity for the stundents to showcase their business talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

A fees is to be paid at the time of addmission, that is building fee, library fee, course fee, etc. Then only exam fees (half yearly) and certificate fees to be paid at the time of course completion is to be paid. In order to secure admission under management seat is necessary. But it is not applicable for merit, sports, cultural and physically disabled seats.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship was avialed by me on Other Backward Community. After joining for the course, I had to take certificate of joining the college, and submitted it along with the marklist to Akshaya center near by. Abaerage amount provide as scholarship was around ‰â_1000

Campus Life

Campus Life - my graduation as well as post graduation are from the same college itsel, the Cochin college. The campus experience as a graduation student and as a post graduation bstudent where different. Gender ratio girls to boys where 3:1. Majority of the campus where filled in with girls. Extracurricular activities where also given priority.

Alumni/Alumna

Every student enter into college with the fear of getting ragged. In our college we had a different experience. Ragging had another version. Of having fun. The seniors who ragged us where our best friends. We are also allowed to participate in alumni function.

Admission

I was the student of the same college for my graduation. When it came to post graduation I mostly preferred the same college itself. First I had to apply online under the university, various colleges where opted. Along with that I took a form from my college for sports quota admission. The form was duly filled and submitted. After a week of scrutiny, a list was published. My name was listed first for the course I opted. Next week I went for the verification of certificates and admission.

Faculty

The faculties of our department are major part of the victory achieved by the students. There are almost 12 teaching staffs in our department. One male teacher and 11 female teachers. Majority comes under the age group of 35-45 years old. Most of the senior teachers retired during the previous years. Majority of the teachers are awarded with Ph.D. Our teachers are free to approach for any doubts for the students.

Placement Experience:

The placement packages here are comparatively low. The average packages start from about 200000-300000 per annum . It depends on the course you take. The hotel management department is placed at a very high package .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture as a whole deals with all aspects of engineering and designing. it deals not only with residential building designs, commercial , landscapes, city design etc... which makes one more interesting in ceative aspects and as a social service to the society as understanding their needs bringing the design elements as to solve them. Placement Experience:

We are probably eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Since i am in my first year, i did not visit any companies or get any offers. I don't know much about the packages offered by companies. The percentage of students getting placements in 27%. My plan after getting a degree is to get 3 years of work experience to become an ACCA affiliate and to work as a financial manager for a top company.
