Remarks

Mainly because of the environment(like the attitude of the students and teachers). The admission process was easy but the office clerks are too slow and also they use phone for personal issues during office hours while the students are in line. The main reason I preferred the college was it was an Anti ragging college and the students are so friendly and welcoming.

I choose to study my masters in English as I am fond of both history and reading novels. The faculties were highly qualified with PhD and they were always ready to help whenever we have an issue regarding any personal or educational needs. It was really easy to understand the teaching and lecture style was very interesting as it was not only self centered teaching but it was more like discussing problems with friends as both students and lecture discuss about the topic taught. There were internals and also viva voce for each semester and the viva voce method helped us very much to face interview .

There was no placement at such but of you are in merit list than it is obvious the lectures will help you find a job with good package or for experience in the campus itself or its affiliated

There was no scholarship or stipend at such but the fees were reasonable. Every two semester, we have to apply for new admission.

Campus Life

The campus itself makes us want to attend class. It is refreshing and there are good places to chill during breaks. Events like farewell, freshers day, teachers day and every other celebrations was a must to celebrate . There are also different clubs like NSS or football club and so much more you can be apart of.

The best college for Social Sciences study

Placement Experience:

The students join in large numbers in this college because of better placements only. They are aware of the same before admission. There is a placement cell called CGPC on the campus which consists of students from the final year. They take care of the students' placement needs. There are many companies like BAIF, Pradan, Kudumbshree, Rajivika, Bihar SRLM, MP SRLS, ORMAS, OLM, Antra, APF, etc. 100% of students get placed from all the courses. Some students of SIE go for establishing their own business enterprise and they do not sit for placements, some want to go for higher studies. Those who wish to get a job all get a job.

Remarks:

Symbiosis School of International Studies, in short, was the biggest mistake of my life. It's not worth spending 5 lakhs. I've heard that they increase the fees by 10% every year. Apart from the hostel which is managed by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, nothing provided by the college is worth the money. The health centre is even worse. They don't check the patients on time. The medicines prescribed are either too strong or ineffective.

A reasonable institute in the heart of Pune

Anyone who has passed the basic requirements for the respective course is eligible to apply here as there is no merit based admission here ie. First come first serve basis. The entire process of admission is online now and hence one can complete the process and then just submit the original documents at the admission centre physically.
