The college management is good. The placement officer is very dedicated. Although the college lacks in extra curricular activities and students should also focus on overall development and not just academic targets. The campus is small ,calm and has lot of greenery. It is surrounded with offices of top software companies which motivates students to target for them. The environment is geeky with students of all sorts ranging from UGs to PGs to Ph.Ds who are intelligent and hard working.

I took Gate 2013 air 2200,IIIT-H PGEE 2013 top 300. I opted for this college because I knew about its reputation in software industry,academic standards and coding culture.

The college internship experience is good. Although the college doesn't support six month internships but it allows for summer three months internship. Students need to take NOC from Dean of the institute if they want to intern at some company. I had interned with Research lab of a Fortune company. The companies which took interns were Microsoft ,Google ,Xerox,AIG,Samsung,Linkedin,Facebook,Progress etc. Most of the companies offered stipend around 20-30k per month.

Placements are very good and comparable to top IITs. Some of the top recruiters were CTC greater than 12 lpa Microsoft,Google,Amazon,Linkedin,Walmart,Directi,Flipkart, Samsung,Practo,TinyOwl,Snapdeal,Mentor Graphics,DE Shaw and etc.

The college has one techno cultural management fest called The fest is normal but not as good as ones at IITs ,NITs etc. The fest is of three days in which events like coding contests,Dance and Music,Rock band etc happen. Mostly UG students actively participate by organizing,promoting and taking part in the events. Apart from fest there are number of activities happening throughout the year like R&D showcase,Microsoft Code.Fun.Do,Cultural nights etc.

The fees is higher compared to other private institutes. For M.Tech , yearly fees is around 1.8 lacs. This includes tuition fees,hostel and mess charges,internet,library,labs etc. Most part of fees goes into tuition charges. M.Techs who have valid Gate scorecard are eligible for Gate stipend. Also if they become Teaching assistant they get monthly stipend.

The college doesn't provide scholarship or loan facilities for UGs and M-Tech students. But college does provide good stipend and has almost negligible fees for MS and PhD students.

The campus lie is very much academic oriented but has lesser extra curricular activities. Apart from college fest there are not much cultural events happening throughout the year. The college has a robotics department which organizes events. There are many hackathons and coding contests which happen throughout the year. For example coding contests organized by Directi,Indeed,Honeywell Microsoft etc. The college has annual sports meet and has a football,cricket and basketball ground for students to play. Also it has fitness trainers and sports coaches to teach students. The college community is diverse with students from almost all parts of country. The gender ratio is also better than many other colleges.

The hostel facilities are good. The UGs and M.Tech students are given twin sharing rooms. The rooms have bed,almirah,tables,LAN ports etc. The hostels are cleaned regularly and washrooms are clean. MS and Ph.D students are provided single occupancy rooms. All students are required to stay in college hostels only. There is no night restriction for entry to hostels. The institute has four messes where both students and faculty have food. One mess caters to north Indian food and one for south. Another mess is for health conscious people. The food is hygienic and good quality. The college also has three canteens of which one serves non veg food.

The college maintains a alumni record and has good alumni network. There are yearly alumni meetups at different places. The alumni are helpful and assist students to grab good opportunities. The senior students are very helpful. Some seniors who are Teaching assistant of courses help students by taking tutorials collecting assignments, mediating between students and professors and helping in course projects.

The exams are frequent. Each subject had three exams including two mid semester and one end semester exam. Apart from exams students have weekly assignments, Semester project,Class quizzes lab exams etc. The final grades are based on all the above parameters. The course structure is tough and if students are not able to manage time or work hard then their grades suffer. The grading system is CPI based and mostly relative.

The faculty of the college is very experienced and knowledgeable. Most of professors are active researchers of their departments. Also there are many visiting faculties who are researchers or senior veterans at companies like Google,Microsoft,Mapr,VMWare,Progress etc. Most of the faculty is PhD from top foreign universities or IITs,IISc. Their qualifications can be seen at the institute website. The professors are helpful and polite. Students have friendly relations with the faculty.
