Entrance Preview
RPET. I opt ECE because it gives an individual flexiblity to have knowledge of both I.T. and Electronics subjects and make career in any of the streams. Admission was done on basis of rank secured in RPET.
Internships Opportunities
Electronics batch had done summer training in PLC & SCADA by Siemens. Also, I had done another training under BHarti Hexacom Ltd (Airtel). No stipend was offered.
Placement Experience
TCS was the major recuriter. It had recruited 108 students out of 250 eligible meeting its criteria. CTC was 3.26 Lakh p.a. Indian Army, Syntel, Merchant Navy firms came for placement.
College Events
Annual Day knows as Shridanjali, Intercollege meets, Freshers and Farewell party, Natonal Level Technical Project Competition-Tehnika Naitius, Sports meet various teams from different colleges used to come and participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is nominal and feasible. No such useless fines on carrying out experiments. University re-exam charges and miscellanous charges were moderate and nominal.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students belonging to poor sections of society were given relaxation in fees and they were given laptops for study. Also, students having high percentage in class 12th were given relaxation in fees.Not much aware about loan scheme.
Campus Life
Campus life was fun. Lush green ground in front of Hostel for sports and temple for worship. Computer labs have sufficent computers to accomodate studnts and elctronics and electrical labs have sufficent quipments to give proper hands-on training. National Level technical project competition was organized every year. Robotic war 'sand workshops on robotics and VLSI was there. Automobile department developed different advance cars which are boon for environment.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is available for both boys and girls having separate wings. 2 buildings for girls and 5 for boys. Rooms were 2 seater and 3 seater respectively having ample space and airy.Hostel mess provides hot served food till late and also canteen ifacility available till midnight. Food served is healthy and not so spicy.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were helpful and used to guide during exams and clear doubts. Even during project making they use to share their valuable experience and guidance and use to motivate us.
Exam Structure
University Exams were semster wise. In college internal assignments and mid terms used to conduct. The enviornment used to be chill out.
Faculty
Faculty was flexible, knowledgeable, motivating and well versed. Teachers have thorough knowledge ralted to their subjects and HOD was supportive and gives practical guidance in between the courses. Lb technicans always ready to help students to clear their doubts and help them learn about handling quipments.
