Remarks

It was really a good experience as it helped to learn lot without much stress without any differences in the attitude of students and lecturers. Lecturers and other faculty members are so friendly and reachable and helped us to learn not only the subjects but also the behaveioral science. The college life is not commercial as of today scenario and helped students to learn.

Entrance Preview

During our days there is no entrance examination and I am from the first batch.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was really good. We could learn lot without much pressure as the curriculum was designed in such a way that we could interact with the lecturers and learn the subject.

Internships Opportunities

During our college days there is no internship programmes being provided to the students. Moreover since I was doing B.Sc Physics there is no much scope for it.

Placement Experience

4

Even though there is no placement cell were existing in our period the education which was provided to us helped to get job opportunities in leading Govt organizations like Telephones and Civil Aviation Department.

College Events

4

The major events were College day celebrations and Bus day celebrations by the students coming from nearby places like Manamadurai which is just 18 Km from sivaganga. Most of the students from Manamadurai only and hence the Bus day celebrations were the most celebrated one.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is so feasible and could be offered by common people. Some social organisation also provided scholarships to meritorious students. Govt also provided some sort of help to the below average income family students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no scholarship directly provided by the college authorities. However social organisations made some provision for some sort of financial benefits to the poor students. Being Arts college the loans were not provided by any banks.

Campus Life

4

It was really fantastic no ragging experiences which is the worst problem faced by today's students there was no discrimination in gender and all haveing equal opportunity. More specific to say that except few love between students,No sex torture or other of problems faced, created. Only during college election some political parties use to influence and that too in a limited level. No difference in religion, race, sexual orientation etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

As I was a day scholar i could not give more details on the hostel. But I was told that the hostel facilities are comfortable and also not so expensive like today fee structure, which could be managed by all.

Alumni/Alumna

Unfortunately as I left my home town 31 years ago eventhough I could contact one or two friends my effort to get in touch with most of the students could not be successful. Efforts are being made in social platforms also but still not in a position to get in touch with most of the friends.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very positive. The labs were haveing adequate equipment and the professionalism of the lab assistants and the lecturers were uncomparable and they provided the best experiences which helped the students to learn more practicals.

Faculty

4

One of the best during that period. They are very cooperative and tuned the students to learn the subject nicely without much difficulties. They also provide full support by way of providing adequate materials and guidance and also easily approachable at any point of time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography, the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate, which helps in consistent preparation, however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning, and modern teaching methods

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed
