Thanjavur Medical College is a really great place to study medicine. They have both undergraduate and graduate courses meaning you will have a lot of interaction with students from different courses and from different places.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is specific to the specialization you opt for in the M.D. course option. Since I opted for pathology, the curriculum has a strong focus on this subject in particular. The exams are usually as per the subject requires.

Placement Experience

There are no internships provided by this college. This is for the MBBS courses, at the M.D. level you will get job opportunities from many places and the college also helps by giving contacts and helping you make connections.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is a 2 year degree and it is an in-depth analysis of the subject in this course. The fees are very affordable considering this as they are only around 32,700 rupees per year. Hence, it the fees are feasible for all.

Campus Life

We have some sort of events or activities going on for the students. Sometimes, we will have sporting events like volleyball or basketball, etc. so you can get some physical activity which is engaging for you.

Admission

To apply, first you need to have completed your MBBS degree from a recognized institution with good marks. Then, you can apply for the course and you will have to write the NEET PG exam to be considered.

Faculty

The faculty is really good here. They have a lot of experience from their time practicing in the field, and some of them are still practitioners. Some are more research-oriented, but both are good because you can choose your pathway as well.

I came to this college because of the best placement offers they provide.From the 2nd year which is 3rd semester our institution training is for placements. Reputed companies like mediccin, Harmony,apollo etc are collaborating in our college. Highest salary package is 21lakhs per annum. Average salary package is 15 lakhs per annum. More percentage of students are getting placed. My plan is to get placement offers from my college..then after that I am wishing to be placed with higher salary package.
