Entrance Preview

CAT. don't remember the score, one of the top ten colleges in Mumbai at the time . The fees in other colleges were i got admissions was a bit high and i couldn't afford it .

Internships Opportunities

Mudra advertising, 8000 Rs per month was where i did my internship . This was the normal average at that point in time and most of the companies which came in for recruitment also came in for internship .

College Events

One annual marketing brand pitch competition and a Quiz competition which invites all colleges to participate. Its one day affair and is focused on getting the best of the companies /Faculty and student in one place .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Approx 36000 per annum, not expensive as per the standard in those days . Total that i would have spent on the college fees including all that was given would not have been more than a lac .

Campus Life

Gender ratios 60/40 in terms of make /female, didn't find anything controversial to talk about any of the issues such as sexual orientation to ethnicity . Quality standard by those days was i would say a 6.5 out of 10 .

Alumni/Alumna

A very active alumni now , with Alumni get together happening every year, have not beeb able to attend as i have not been in mumbai.

Exam Structure

6 monthly exam chilled out not very hectic projects well spaced out . Labs were only for computers and there was a well equipped library .Exam structure included a lot of projects to be done.

Faculty

Good mix of professors and people from the industry teaching, lot of faculty was shared and were people teaching in JBIMS, NIMIS etc Sydenham Institute of Management etc .

Placements are great almost 300+ Companies visit the campus every year like Infosys takes 50+ students, tcs, asian paints etc do visit I'm doing my internship in Mercedes benz and almost 65% of my seniors are placed already.

Placement Experience:

Currently I am in first year so I have not been placed as of yet but the placemnets for our seniors is on going which is the first batch of MBA HCM and hence I would not be able to reveal the cokmpanies. The few summer internship companies though were Apollo, Nanavati, BMJ etc.

First green B-School in India

Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. The set up the talks and sessions from industry leaders time to time to keep the students and themselves update about the changes in the corporate world and make them ready to face the challenges.
