Course Curriculum Overview

The course duration is one year where we get knowledge about core subjects such as web design, data processing, JAVA, C++, operating system, system analysts & Microsoft tools etc. The course gives the students the necessary knowledge about how to develop the software packages and enhance their hard as well as soft skills.

Top recruiting areas in this fields are Business firms, Space research institutions, Banking, Educational institutes, Insurance etc. The average starting salary ranges from 3 to 7 lpa according to the post offered. Job roles such as PHP developer, IT specialist, Graphic designer, Software developer and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee was around 15,000 for 12 months. This includes tuition fees, library deposit, security deposit, medical charges, club membership fees etc. The fees is very nominal from my point of view and easily affordable if compared to the other colleges.

Campus Life

In house competitions are organised by the students council to bring out the talents of the students in the fields of essay writing, rangoli making, pooja thali, mehendi, debate competition, speech, flower decoration, singing, drama, baking, salad decoration etc. Book exhibitions and social campaigns such as blood donation programs & pollution control measure are also held from time to time. Sports meet is also conduct where students compete against themselves to with the medal.

Hostel Facilities

Separate hostel rooms are provided to both girls & boys with a charge. There is a strict discipline maintained by the hostel warden whose duty is to make sure that whether we are doing are daily chore or not and maintaining cleanliness. Meals are provided at time with excellent quality. The canteen menu is sumptuous and the prices are very low & affordable for the college staff and students.

Admission

The students with a minimum of 55% marks in their undergraduate course with Mathematics as one of the main subjects can apply for admission. Apply online for the course and pay the application fees. The admission is strictly done on the basis of merit.

Faculty

All the faculty members are experienced and well trained in their fields. They give more emphasis on practical knowledge rather than just learning the bookish language. Special stress is also given on the basic concepts of e-commerce, JAVA, a basic knowledge of internet, C++ etc so that the students can gain the professional exposure in this course.

Likes

Female ratio is more as compared to male because of this course majorly female ppt more for this course.
Faculty members are friendly enough to have better interaction related to study .
The campus is very safe clean and have facilities like ground ,canteen and auditorium.

Dislikes

Insufficient laboratory apparatus and equipments .
Partiality among students based on the interaction with professors.
Timing of classes sometimes practical classes extend beyond class period.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like this course and the advancement it's doing in present life . This course is quite demanding in present generation. The curriculum includes practical related to modern technology using living organisms for for human welfare for present and future generations. There are also seminars and webinars quite often . However the equipments are quite limited as the class strength is quite large due to which not all students get access to perform practical. Semester exam basically have 2 internals having a gap of two months each and then the final exam.the difficulty of exam is from easy to moderate.

They have sports facilities and also have ideal lab
Aicte grading is A+ they have also many clubs
The review of college in iic regional is 4 star

Dislikes

75 percent attendance mandatory for class test 1 amf class test 2also
College is far away from the city raipur and also away frome city facilities
They are very strict in also the classnotes.. And in ct 60 marks is compulsory

Placement Experience:

Our college placement is good average placement is 6 to 7 lpa and the placement start 7 semester amd the internship starts with 5 semester Tca wipeo infosys Samsung's just play mahindra ibm and many more I will go for masters after degree

There is a café named "Pai chai" which is very amazing and lots of people hangout there for its great Cup of tea.
there are so many good staff and teachers for us to teach. most of them graduated from NITs/IITs and even from IIMs.

Dislikes

There is too less hostels for us. especially for those who are from other states.
Teachers give too much assignment work. very hard to deal with.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college pretty good for the higher branch like Cse , Ece , IT but for lower branches like ours is very low Only 5-10 students got placed last year from biotech . Whereas the placement percentage of Cse is around 90% . The highest package offered was 56 LPA , that is told us in Induction Program.

Admission process is quite simple and easy

Course Curriculum Overview:

The relevancy is not at par to be fair. There are many things which are theoretical but are not applicable in real life which makes our course a little out of date in comparison to real life practices.

IIIT Naya Raipur has best campus!!

Likes

Since NTPC holds a stake in our college our placements are guaranteed.
Chattisgarh Government has provided a lot of scholarship for students of our college and mostly to girls to encourage girl child education.
Many innovations and researches are promoted as our college believes in building IT leaders.

Dislikes

Hostels are not cleaned daily and sometimes we are left to do it on our own.

Placement Experience:

At IIIT Naya Raipur from 2022 where 74 out of 180 students were placed in 2025 the number increased to 127. So placements are surging and so are the numbers are also increasing heavily as well. 10 lakhs it is after 2025 and by next year I wish it to be 15 or more.

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

Likes

Overall infrastructure is good and clean. There are different outlets in the canteen area, one can get different foods. Plus it also has an cafe, in case you need a cup of coffee!
Facilities are nice and helpful with few exceptions.
Sport infrastructure is good, but needs maintenance

Dislikes

I don't really like the campus life here, it's boring, nothing interesting happens here.
Some faculties are super mean, They scold you for small things.
I don't like the fact that fees doesn't decrease, they should atleast decrease each year if not semester wise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this curriculum is because I've a keen interest in computer programming. The exams aren't really hard if you know the basics and the curriculum. The Faculties are well educated but low-key outdated. Speaking of curriculum, I feel like the curriculum is super outdated and needs to be changed.

Mbbs is a vast course consisting of 19 subjects in a duration of 4.5 years + 1 year of internship making it a hectic course . The exposure to the clinical practices and the world of diseases and medicine is exceptional

Life at NIT Raipur

Likes

Campus life is really good with great environment.
Many events which help students learn group working skills and other managing skills.
Faculty is friendly and perfectly trained.

Dislikes

Hostel is not alloted to all the students
The frequency of is a bit high.Preparation time is not enough for exams.

Placement Experience:

Students from 6th semester are eligible for placements.Many companies like google , microsoft,hero , virtusa , and more.Highest package for this year is 62 lakh per annum and average package is 13 lakh per annum.The placement percentage for overall branches is 74%.I will try for a placement in campus placements from my 6th semester.

Likes

Campus life: It is very good and homely.
Good faculty and nice teaching 👍🏻 👌 👏
Good coure like CSE with good updated courses.

Dislikes

Less girls sudents . Less girls to boys ratio.
Not good for south students. Cooks according to north students.
No washing machines available for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took cse because it is ever green and demanding. Faculty student ratio is very good here. Every teacher here is done with Phd .many in IITs and some in NITs . Their teaching is good. It is very easy to pass exams here. We can Stuy a night before the exam and get descent score.
