Life at Vaish College!

I pursued B.Sc Physics which is a three year course. I had very interesting subjects all through my course. Apart from physics related subjects, I also had allied courses related to maths and chemistry. It was very interesting. Exams happened at the end of each semester for 70 marks.

There are placements opportunities but not many. Although our college provides internships in good companies but for full time jobs, they need to work on. That being said, most of the students go for masters anyway so not many students sit for placements.

Events are a highlight at Vaish College. There is always something or the other happening. Starting or educative workshops to fun fests. Freshers and farewells are also a must. They are held for each batch. Plus cultural programs are also conducted.

The fees for the first years is 15000. It is increased a little but more or less I paid 47000 for all three years. This included only academic fees. Hostel fees are different. I feel it is quite affordable for a larger section of society which is great.

Extracurricular activities are a major part of our curriculum. We can get extra credits too. We have amazing clubs that do events all year long. Music club and dance clubs organise events on special occasions while our sports club organises tournaments.

The admission process of this college is very standard. All you have to do is fill up the application for and submit it with your documents. The eligibility criteria requires students to get a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2. The merit list comes and if you get selected you are called for other formalities.

Our faculty was very knowledgeable and diligent. They took regular tests so that the students are on track and study regularly. they monitored our marks and scheduled doubt classes for students who could not score well.
