Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is decent considering this is just a diploma course in computer applications. the course duration is for 2 years with each academic year divided in 2 semesters each. Exams and tests are conducted regularly and assessment is done based on the skill shown in practical, theoretical exams and yearly assignments and projects.

Placement Experience

The college does not provide much arrangement for placements because it is a diploma course in computer applications. Although the placement faculty helps in garnering us internships in startup companies in and around major cities like Indore, bhopal, nagpur, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for both the years of diploma in computer applications is 20,000 Rs. The fees is considered reasonable since, many private institutes like tuitions and classes take higher fees and provide the same knowledge that is provided in my college, in addition with the infrastructure and faculty which is added advantage over private classes. Also the value of diploma degree is greater than certificate course.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities include sports events and festst which are conducted in neighboring colleges in jabalpur, indore, bhopal, etc. Also our chain of universities (MMYVV) also meet annually to compete in activities like debate, meditation studies and seminars, etc. Consciousness awareness programs are conducted regularly which provide us with a spiritual exposure.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors of my course have been very helpful to me. They have helped me find rooms near my college. And whenever I felt alone, my seniors were just around the corner to help me adjust in the new environment. Overall people here are very peace loving an open minded.

Admission

I got admission to this college in diploma in computer applications on merit basis marks in 10+2. As instructed in the college bulletin board, no entrance exam is conducted but the minimum grade in 12th should be at least 45% in science subjects.

Faculty

The faculty of the college responsible for the particular course is skilled and well versed. When I took admission in the college for this course, I was having too much trouble understanding the programming languages taught in class, my gurus helped me understand the concepts which helped me in practical exams.

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure in PIMR is effective and good. The institute placement cell lays great emphasis on the overall placement process and inviting companies in the college. The students are eligible to sit at placements from 3rd semester. There is rarely any company that visited the institute and haven't made any offer to the students. The highest package offered this year is of 20LPA, with average package being almost 5LPA. Almost 80% of the tsudents were able to secure offer letters at the end of their degree.

My course is microbiology,, it's very interesting to learn about all the microbes and all their uses in our daily life , but when it comes to demonstrate practically ,, we don't have a microscope and weighing machine, the lab is not well maintained , and also the chemicals and salts are expired , We have no other options to use , so We are compelled to use that only

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

In the last year or 7th semester you will be able to attend campus recruitment and get placed in a reputed company. Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.
