Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was quite varied. We learned the fundamentals of professional draping, pattern making, and sewing techniques. We also learn computer-aided designs. The most of curriculum was in par to the recent market trends.
Placement Experience
INIFD is a professional college which offers a lot of opportunities to students and a lot of exposure to them. We also get help with setting up our portfolio. Some of the major recruiters of our students were Tommy Hilfiger, United colors of Benetton, Wills Lifestyle, Esprit, Pantaloons, Louis Philippe, Van Heusen.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My fees for a year was around 1.5 lac rupees. It was very practical as it amounted my hostel stay and the admission. I had to pay for the equipments that i used tho. Mostly the pencils and books. I felt the fees was a bit much for me but it was worth it.
Campus Life
Our college gave us so many opportunites and exposed us to many projects. We had access to Lakme fashion week, London fashion week. We also conducted annual fashion shows and many other shows that helped us develop our portfolios and give us experience.
Hostel Facilities
The campus offered full residential service which had wifi all around. We had access to recreation facilities like T.V., magazines, some indoor and outdoor games. Our hostel also had great security personnel and amazing wardens.
Admission
Our admission were merit based and depended more on how we did in school. There weren't admission entrance exams which made the admission great and stress-less. We downloaded the form filled it and sent it out to the college. They call you and sent an email to confirm.
Faculty
Our professors were all exemplary professionals who have many connections with the fashion industry. They were always improving themselves and better themselves as well as keep up with the industry. We also had access to them in person or via emails.
