An interesting experience

The course curriculum is spread across a duration of 3 years. The subjects that students study includes history of English literature, criticism, literary words etc. Students have their exams at the end of each semester and sessionals in between.

The college has a placement cell and it also invites various companies for placing its students. However, since I was from B.A. english department, there were so such placements for my department and I pursued master after completion of my course.

This college is quite feasible since the amount to be paid for education here is relatively less as compared to other colleges that require substantial amount for the same. I had to pay a total of around Rs 4100 for 3 years of education here.

The college hosts few extracurricular activities, of whom even I was a part of. However, it needs to buckle up in this and needs to do better in terms organising events for its students apart from academic things.

The college has an active alumni network that keeps the alumni members in touch with each other. The seniors and juniors have a healthy relationship with each other and the seniors are extremely helpful towards their juniors.

In order to get admission for this course in this college, I had to apply via the application that can be availed from the college. I filled the application after completion of my higher secondary examinations when the results were declared.

The faculty of the college is well educated and approachable in nature. They are always there for the students and also helped us out whenever we were stuck in certain academic situations. It was easy to count on them.
