Course Curriculum Overview

The duration of the course is 5? Years including one year compulsory Rotatory internship. The course curriculum is followed as prescribed by the The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai framed by the Central council for Indian Medicine, New Delhi.

Placement Experience

As far as I know, placements are decent. Since I haven't reached my final year, I've no idea of which companies come to recruit students. But, internship is compulsory for each student and meritorious students also get stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees of the course is INR 15,00,000 for 5 years. Isn't that a bit expensive? No, if you are paying this amount, it is definitely worth it. Albeit, economically weaker sections can't afford it and for this purpose, government provides scholarships to SC/ST students .

Campus Life

Various extra curricular activities are held and to facilitate these activities, college provides gymnasium, courts, playground,etc. The college doesn't have much diversity but any sort of violence and bad behaviour is not condoned by the college.

Admission

Admission is done on the basis of score in class 12. After the results, an application is uploaded on the website of the college. Students have to fill the application and applicants will be scrutinized on the basis of class 12 scores in all the qualifying exams. Total number of seats are 40.

Faculty

Faculty is very experienced and renowned. They are affable and supportive. They teach with great enthusiasm and zeal. All the professors are regular. All the teachers have studied from top colleges and take doubts on a regular note.

Course Curriculum Overview:

there will be 2 semesters per year. before attending a semester, the student need to complete 2 sessional exam which will be for 30 marks. if is student is unable to clear their arrear in 1st year, they will not be able to promoted to 3rd year. if a student is unable to clear their arrear in 2nd year, they will not get promoted to 4th year. this is called break system. syllabus will be tough but the course is worth it for notes, every student must refer library books.
